Diggi Raja's only fault
by ANAND TEERTHA on May 30, 2009 04:02 PM

Diggi Raja's only fault was that he claimed that the UP experiment of going it alone in the elections was his brain child not of Rahuls' hence he was booted out of the ministry.

All pyschic BJP and Paki supporters - act fast
by Bharat Soni on May 29, 2009 08:44 PM  | Hide replies

Dear brothers and sisters, Please visit Dr. Harish Shetty to get rid of your psychic behaviour. BJP's loss has taken its toll on most of the BJP lovers. India's progress is giving nightmares to our dear enemies. The monthly income of an average Indian for the first time in the country's history has crossed Rs3,000, thanks to economic reforms and a high growth rate of above 9 per cent achieved for three years since 2005-06. Dr Harish Shetty, Psychiatrist, L H Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai believes that frequent change or sudden loss of job, social and personal problems, high expectations, jealosy, issues with colleagues and long working hours lead to both physical and mental exertion. He adds, “If a person is not able to climb the progress ladder at a pace he wants, it could lead to frustration and loss of self-esteem, which in turn would affect his mental health and patients normally tend to blame others for their weaknesses and mistakes.

This is a pattern in India's workign class since past 2 decades, or at least 15 years. Nothing's new. This is eaxctly what Japan went through and is still trying to cope with it. Hopefully, the religious nature of Indians and love of songs and music will bring some stability to the chaos.

ministy of railways
by Shan CS on May 29, 2009 05:53 PM  | Hide replies

Mr. E Ahammed is inducted as state minister of railways...Last year Mr. Lalu told mallus...behut de diya ..behut...Now its the turn for Mallu..what he is going to do is to revamp the situation by bringing back what the tamil ppl has lured from mallus.. After all mallu wants more trains and even a zone for them.. I wonder how a train can run on highways. so i hope Mr. Ahamed is keen in inventing a rail engine and coaches which could be plunged into the roads very soon.. Its bad news that a mallu occupied the rail ministry. I swear he do nothing. The mallus are keen in playing the caste game rather than looking after the interests of the people. I wonder why god not made animals based on the caste...LIke brahmin's goat, Nair's goat, Ezhava's goat..etc.. In the near future the KERALA would become another SOUTH AFRICA. So I might ask ahamed to rename the trains running in kerala like..Nair Express, Ezhava Express, Namboothiri Express.. If any one from another caste enters the train they would be deported at the nearest next station. Yes this is in store for the MALLUS.

Inclusion of young MPs and Mr. Shashi Tharoor
by abbas akhtar on May 29, 2009 01:14 PM

By the inclusion of young MPs as Scindia, Jitin Prasada, Sachin Pilot, the Govt has shown that it wants change and is ready to hand over the charge to the young brigade in times to come.

Inclusion of Mr. Shashi Tharoor as MoS External Affairs is another good step.

Good selection!!!!!!!!

Dayanithi - Textiles ?
by Guest on May 29, 2009 12:43 PM  | Hide replies

Dayanithi Maran is one of those ministers in the previous UPA ministries who performed well. On the other hand, A Raja is accused of scandal in spectrum allocation. Now, Raja gets the same IT & Telecom and Dayanithi is given Textiles?

Ms. Mamata, an Abedan
by BR on May 29, 2009 12:01 PM

Abedan korchchi , improve the stature of the trains please. We are humans and not cattle,m to be herded in hundreds in a few coaches. There used to be a time hardly a decade ago, when I came across british tourists who rode the trains always. some of my happiest memories are criss-crossing the country from west to east and back every year, watching the winderful landscapes that only a train ride can provide. I don;t want to travel in a closed AC coach with stuffy air and where windows are hazy. Wtaching the tribal MP belt go by, with red soil, the black soil of maharashtra, and the lush greenery of eastern india with their ponds. It was a marvellous journey. These days to think of taking a train gives me shivers, wondering about the horrendous toilets, the overcrowding, the terrible smell, and the constant fear of dacoits in the bihar/up belt; heck even my father in his 50s once ran out all by himself with the police watchign to catch hold of a thief who was running their hands across the women's necks looking for jewellery.

trains brought back to some good shape, no matter the price, India can take pride again in trhe largest and most effieicnt and best network of the world. This is a public sector, don;t look for profit. The profit only goes into someone else's pocket.

And stop all that nonsense about Rs. 20 ticket. India is not Kolkata, where even 3 paise used to be currency a only decade ago when rest of india had abandoned 25 ps.
