Serves you right.

The shifting of Brahmin votes to the Congress is a major event for the party. This could be the curtain raiser for H1ndus starting to vote for the Congress again.

For the past 20 years, Congress has depended on you people and see what horrible shape they were in. You guys are blackmailers and perennial cry babies.

Congress has realized this and now will continue the sound policy of appeasing H1ndus,S1khs,Ja1ns,Buddh1sts and Tr1bals(all indics) like before.

This victory for the Congress is thanks to us 1nd1cs and not you minorities.

Congress has come back to its senses.

Who told you Musl1ms are in majority in UPA/WB/Kerala?

Stop your nonsense.

FYI,Congress lost their deposits in 59 seats in UP where H1ndus and Dal1ts dont vote for them.

No party in India can survive without support from Indics.

Congress is a shining example of this, see what happened to them in the past 20 years.

Days of Muzlim appeaasement is going. With advent of Sonia Mata(as adressed by minorities) Vatican Parivar Mafia will come into play and it will be Xtians who will get preference. Likes of Agatha Sangma, Shibu Soren even though he is a dreaded criminal, A.K.Antony,Oscar Fernandes with foreign names will be dearer and preferred in days to come. Even Derek O Brein has a chance. ALl foriegn sounding names will be prefered.

Musl1ms are dullards, they lack brains and you want them to be ministers?

This is a predominantly H1ndu,S1kh,Buddh1st and Indic country, why should you people be given so much importance?

Look...stop this nonsense of veering the Congress away when they have come to their senses.

I have voted the Congress to power this time. As a matter of fact we are doing a signature campaign to the AICC with this regards.

Congress has been losing elections eversince they started to appease the minorities.

Under Indiraji there was no discrimination at all. That is why she was a popular PM.

We want those days back.

Congratulations on your fantastic victory. The notable thing is that you have realized that this victory of yours is thanks to the Majority H1ndu,Sikhs and other Indic culture religions and not minorities.

I am glad that you have realized this, as you can see by banking on support of Musl1ms keeps your party in the opposition benches.

You must never, ever try and hurt sentiments of the Indic religions.

They are the majority, without whom you cannot win elections in India.

Keep them minorities away and India will support you.

My only contention is that Congress must shun the minorities and bring their focus back to the people belonging to the 1ndic rel1g1ions.

This is victory is thanks to them and not the minorities.

Distribution of Ministrial berths
by Ahi Sen on May 28, 2009 10:49 AM

Traditionally the right to nominate ministers is the prerogative of the PM. However, in Congress it is the Party President who decides the choice. When ever the Nehru-Gandhi family holds the post of President it may not be even the president's choice. If the Congress MPs accept this outsiders have no right to comment on this though it may hurt their sentiment.

Whom to blame? Sonia or YSR
by Anil Sivudu on May 28, 2009 10:44 AM  | Hide replies

It's 33 this time. Next time it will be tough to get even 3 because of the injustice.

I thought Undavalli Arun Kumar and Rayapati Sambasiva Rao (both in the good books of Sonia) would be make it to the Cabinet.

Is it YSR's ploy to scuttle the growth of his fellow Congressmen in the State? Even looking at his own cabinet in the State, one gets a feeling that he is on his way to finish of his detractors or those perceived to threaten his seat.

Foolishness all around
by Rajib Chakraborty on May 28, 2009 10:44 AM

It is not at all important to allocate ministries as per statewise number of seats won. Once a party comes to power, they have to choose the best and most capable people for cabinet posts or others. Well, congress has neither selected the best possible persons, nor have they satisfied so called "state aspirations". The author of this article seems to deeply believe that ministership is an "award", not anything to do with governance. Alas, reservation mentality has become too deep rooted in this country.
