Not a happy feeling to see people commenting disrespectfully on Advani's PM ambitions.I am not a great fan of advani's ledership as such but i beleive Hndus of india let him down. He spent his entire life is talking pro-hndu stuff and hndus punished him for not talking pro-musi stuff. As hndus have genetic difficiency to produce stcophants. many of us are always like that, we like to be praised and we take pride in digging our own grave. I think apart from social movement to make people think in correct persepective, we also need medical research to treat the defficiency, that anoher thing.
I think if he look back, he would think that had he talked pro-musi language, he could have PM at least twice in his long career.
Actually he did realize it and tried to do that by jinna talk, but than by that time it was too late and he got even ridiculed on that as well.

It is not about Pro Hindu or Pro Muslim. If you want to win the people you need to unite them then only u can win. there are 80% hindus in india then why dint BJP win coz now u cant divide and rule. New Mantra is "Unite and rule"

VAJPAYEE used pro-musi language very smartly, i can give you a list of his pro-musi talks, he did not got his moderate image without doing nothing. Bottomline is you must do pro-musi talk, as the things stand today. Guess, MM says entire national resources should be spent on musies and hndus clap on that? what u say? on this mentality among hndus..something lacking..right

Good answer Loan Shark. Some people on this board behave as if Hinduism is linked to BJP in some divine marriage. Its not, if Hindus feel BJP is not the right party they will say so as they did in this election.
In this election India has voted for national parties alliance (INC and BJP ).
Consider the election result where both INC and BJP have presence people have voted equally for the BJP and INC.
Total difference of INC and BJP states (consider pre-poll alliance) was 91 (in INC favor)
Remove the four (W.B., Kerala, AP, and TN) state where only INC was having presence but not BJP The difference of the BJP and INC states is 2 (In favor of BJP ).
Now if we add the seated of this 4 state, (94 out of 143 for INC and 1 for BJP ) INC has taken a lead of 93 seats.
Conclusion: Indian Voter has totally rejected the 3rd/ and 4th front and voted for BJP or INC . For NDA to come to power they need to increase their foot print in this 4 stated by alliance or by their own.
