Follow the US strategy
by naeem memon on May 18, 2009 09:20 PM  | Hide replies

India can do nothing on its own. It follows the US strategy in every direction and will be a failed state very soon. Why doesn't the Congress look at the repurcusions of the strategy adopted by US which has led the US to such a bad state? Why don't we come up with our own strategy and be a model to the world instead of following the West?

HATS OFF!!
by Timothy Titus Tharasingh on May 18, 2009 09:20 PM

Kudos and Hats Off to India and our Indians! We have finally got rid of the Communal Bogeyman. Religion, caste, creed, language, has now been removed from the Indian equation. Let the message that we are firstly Human Beings and secondly Indians sweep across the Nation and spill over. Excuse me Mr. Karat/Mr.Yechury, its time you closed up your archaic party and went home (wherever that is). Please let us move forward. Today I am proud to be an Indian!

I want to protest a pro musi govt in this otherwise so called 'secular' country.

I want to protest a govt in this country that openly promotes disrespct to hndu faith and conversion of poor hindus.

I want to protest a govt that supports swiss black money accounts.

I want to protest a govt that shells out tax payers money in form of loan subsidy, huz subsidy, loan waiver, rural employment type appeasement policies.

I want to protest a govt that run the most corrupt cabinet in the history of india in last 5 years mainly due to its notorius allies.

I want to protest a govt that orders musi count in indian army to disrespect the Indian army hence playing with national security for votes.

I want to protest a govt that want to give reservation to musies on religious basis planting a new cancer in Indian society.

I want to protest a govt which want to destroy the institutions in the country.

I want to protest a govt that has and want to give musi special religious laws to plant a future taliban in this country.

I want to protest a govt that cares more for illegal bangladesis coming to india than poor indian people living in those areas.

I want to protest a govt that says allh hu akbar is secular and 'jai shri raam' is communal.

I want to protest a govt that says ram is a myth and while a looter babar is more valuable than lord ram.

Apart from what i said previously.

I want to protest such a pm being reelected, who openly flaunt his pro-musi character, who goes through sleepless night when a musi jehadi is caught abroad, while he gets sound sleep when innocent citizens are killed by same musi jehadis everyday in various part of this country and hndus are being driven away from their homes in certain parts of this country.

I want to protest a pm being reelected who believes the entire national resources (tax money from hndus) should be spent on musis and promoting islamic jehad and rest of the people should pay a price for being so called, majority.

Sikhs getting slaughered in thousands = A MISTAKE.
Hindous getting killed in Kashmir = Political problem.
Muslims getting killed by a few hundred = Holocaust.
Poor protestors getting shot in WB under Left Govt = Misunderstanding.

Kargil Attack = Government failure.
Chinese invasion in 1962 = Unfortunate betrayal.

Reservations in every school and college on caste lines = Secular. Reservations in Minority institutions = Communal.

Fake encounters in Gujarat [Sohrabuddin] = BJP Communalism.
Fake encounters under Cong-NCP in Maharashtra [Khwaja Younus] = Police atrocity.

Talking about Hindus and Hindoism appeasment = Communal. Talking about Muslims and Islam = Secular.

BJP freeing 3 terrorists to save 100 Indian hostages = Shameful
Congress freeing 4 militants to save just a life of one daughter of I Home minister in Kashmir [Rubina Sayed] = Natural Political dilemma.

Attack on Parliament = BJP ineptitude. Not hanging Afzal Guru the mastermind despite Supreme Court orders = Humanity and Political dilemma.

BJP questioning Islam = Communal. Congress questioning Lord Ramas existance = Clerical Error.

United we stand.
by vishal paiverneker on May 18, 2009 09:09 PM  | Hide replies

None of our historical text mention the word Hindu. Hindu was a term invented by some one to differentiate people who did not follow their religion.

But then people like BJP started using this term for political gains. They jumped around from 40 odd seats to ruling just based on one issue.

It was high time we realized that the country should be united. This election proved that people want to be united. The move to divide the country based on religion was defeated.

BJP too has good leaders and moving forward they will have to rethink on their strategy and change it to make the country progress.

Also it was pleasing to see left lose the elections badly.

Do you know the Constitution of our Country recognizes H1ndu Religion? Did that term fall from the sky?

It may be "pleasing to see left lose the elections badly" but ensure that it does not turn into a tragic incident. MMS Govt has already sold our Country to the US under a dubious nuclear deal. That is the reason for the joy of Americans.

BJP was the first one to begin economic reforms in the country. And there is nothing wrong in trying to preserve H1ndu culture and pride. Look at Pakistan - an 1slamic state. Because of H1ndu majority, there is progress and tolerance in India. Once 1slam becomes majority, it will be all downhill. I'm not saying H1nduism is perfect. We need to work on equality for everyone.

Why BJP Lost?
by fokatsingh on May 18, 2009 09:06 PM  | Hide replies

I belongs to a small town (as other 80% Indians), what concern me and what's not.

1. I need communal harmony in my neighbourhood; I have nothing to do with international terrorism.
2. I need a job to earn my living; I have nothing to do with Swiss banks and black money.
3. I need good food, water and electricity; I have nothing to do with foreign or economical policies.
4. I need road to approach my village; I have nothing to do with Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
5. I need a local MP who works for us; I have nothing to do with a weak PM on Delhi.

Simplest problems of life, why the think tank of BJP is unable to understand this?

I don’t have any faith in congress as they could not deliver my needs in 55 yrs of their rule but the reason BJP lost this election is that they are not even talking about my needs.

Just my thoughts…

Reform? What reform? What is American Model of Economy or; should we say Democracy? Blind followers of free economic policies have badly suffered. Present recession is proof thereof. What America wants is economic subservience from other Countries and their leaders. Who else could do that than meak and nominated PM Mr. MMS! This person subordinates the constitutional post of PM before Sonia & Rahul. Fair enough; because he enjoys the post at the mercy of these two personalities. But, is it not shameful to seek autograph of Obama! Rightly America is euphoric about Cong victory and continuation of meak MMS as PM!

Get your facts correct. Read Seema Mustafa's article in New Indian Express Mr. Loan Shark! History will record MMS as a "nominated PM" and the weakest one. He is a good man and honest too. But, he is only a file pusher - not a decision maker! For taking decision he has to run to 10, Janpath! And, by the way what was his performance over last 5 yrs? Loss of 5 lakh jobs for young Indians, suicide by hundreds of farmers, sky-rocketting price line, languishing infrastructure sector, down slide in industrial production, subservience to US in foreign policy, allowing Italian Q go scot free. Some achievements indeed! But, those who understand, they hardly vote! Others vote for caste and religion. Hindus are disunited for ever, since the days of Md. Ghouri. Even now, Jaichands like Lalu, Mulla Mulayam, Paswan, Karat etc are there to help out Ghouri.

So, no wonder BJP lost!

The election results show how communal the Indian polity is. One can talk about a Sikh PM, the Muslim vote, the Church mandate to Christians - these are considered communal. I am a Muslim and voted for the candidate from the Congress because he happened to be be a worthy one, but in my neighbouring constituency, Powai, Kirit Somaiya from the BJP, whom none can dispute was a most worthy canditate lost only because he happened to be from the BJP and not a single Christian or Muslim voted. They voted him out and that is Mussalam Beimaani, unIslamic and hence most communal. Sad day for India.
