Sonia Gandhi has done a commendable job in leading the disarrayed Congress Party after P.V. Narasimha Rao back-stabbed her.

Hope now we can open Rediff

Hope now we can open rediff and read the news without much embrassment, as many of the abusers taken a long leave and gone to their villages.

Earlier before the results, rediff was a place for abusing the national leaders and was considering all anti-bjp as anti- nationals.

Hope now this crazy people will understand that is not the country what they are thinking.

India is not hearing the third class and illiterate leaders of BJP, like modi and advani but they looking forward to see what our most educated PM Dr. Singh have to say.

Please keep your standard and try to respect others !!! This result is a lesson for the BJP - RSS for their dirty politics of religion.

Religion is a private affair of a person but politics is a public matter.

The thumbing win in mumbai, delhi and TN showing that most of the BJP's trum cards, like mumbai attacks, ram sethu, weak PM.. failed.

Congress should not include SP, LJP and Dev Gowda
by Alfred Thomas on May 18, 2009 10:03 AM  | Hide replies

People already given their mandate for congress. So now no need to include SP, LJP and Dev Gowda in the govt. This three parties will spoil the good image of the congress.

Lalu can be included in the govt. provided he will have some low profile minister or nothing.

To revive BJP has to abandon Modi
by South Indian on May 18, 2009 09:59 AM

Summary of this election - wherever Modi goes, BJP lost it badly

Modi in charge of Maharashtra, a series of meetings in as many as 25-30 constituencies, only in 3 of them NDA people win..

Modi again vigourously campaign many parts of Uttara Pradesh, BJP loss most seats, win 10 seats in some areas where the RLD has a presence, piggyback on them

Modi goes Orissa and rest is history. Navin Patnaik gets brutal majority in Orissa assembly and win majority LS seats

So just check, wherever he went BJP bite the dust. Even in Gujarat Congress won 11 and 2 seats they lost by slender margins to BJP. Even Rajkot BJPs citadel fell. BJPs vote percentage in Gujarat drastically down.

Anf after election results are out, nobody knows where Modi is!

The victory of UPA has clearly given a very strong message that talking is not enough public apperciates silent workers. The waiveing of rs 60000.0 crores loans to farmers, reducing petrol disel and cooking gas price and unrelent supports to Biharies during crisis of flood victoms.Making nuclear deal and risking the government will start giving good results from this year onwards. The victory is of common man and people who wants progress, jobs, roads, electricity and water.Jai Ho Satish Kumar Jain

congress lead india for 50 years. still the situation is that govt need to waive of our former loan( don't know how much farmer is benifited actually). it means in 50 year of congress govt not able to make our farmer financially strong enough.. 70% population of our country is based on farming directly or indirectly.
whatever mess we are seeing did by congress as they rule india most of the time.
India, Chiana and Japan start building the nation at the same time.. 1945 to 1950...
you can easily see that where we are today compare to these two country.....

Congress win
by First Hindu on May 18, 2009 09:39 AM

There is a saying -
'Only when the spring arrives one can makeout who is a Cuckoo and who a Crow..'

Wait for a time when Congiees start showing thier true colour. People expecting enormous developement and goodness
- PLEASE DON'T HAVE HIGH HOPES

If you really have then remember 60 years of post independence congress era - they ruled on their own and nothing happened really.

Whatever developement they will do now is becuase of pressure of proving that they also can do it when BJP can do it.
