Going by your idea, there should be round robin of PMs - each time elect from different strata. Dalit PM helps Dalits. Next term, nominate a Forward caste PM. He will help the forward castes for 5 years, and so on. We can have a national circus.

Elections are more fair today than they were ten years ago. Toward the right path.
Change the whole constitution. I am all for it but until then do the best with what we have.
As the saying goes everybody can win a game of Flash with three aces but the skill is winning with 2,3,5 in high game.

reservation is a terrible idea!!! The person who introduced resevation Dr Ambedkar himself told that the reservation system should not exceed 10 years , since it would be a failure.
All these govt hospitals have doctors that have come on reservation. Tell me who in his right mind would trust those doctors. Most of them would have barely scrapped through the exams. The bright students getting 80% and above don't get the opportunity while students with 45% become engineers/doctors.
If BJP cannot get rid of the kind of supporters like many on rediff they have, they will never recover. With this kind of supporters and politics BJP willl continue going down. Indian voters are mature
Interesting that Navin Patnaik even in the Congress onslaught across India stood his ground. Dumping BJP has helped him recover. If he was with BJP he was sure to bite the dust. Luckily for him (unlucky Orissa Congress) he decided to break ties with BJP. Win both assembly with brutal majority and most LS seats. Modi spent much time in Orissa and lose everywhere.
It was an excellent performance by the UPA. I wish they have had 272 so that they need not depend on any other parties. Lesson learnt by Laloo, Mulayam,,Paswan. Above all,,,,,Karat and gang were the big flops . One can't understand how they even thought of forming a govt. in the first place.

I am BJP supporter. I do not like congress for its pro-muslim stand and sycophancy of gandhi family. It was saddening to see BJP lose. But, on the flip side, I would anyday vote for MMS if BJP is not an option. The best thing to have happened is BSP,SP,Laloo, communists trash are all gone. MMS can carry on with economic policies(same as BJP) without these jokers derailing them.

I'm also a staunch BJP supporter and will remain till death. But I do agree that best part of this election was demise of basta*ds like lalu, mulayam and paswan atleast congress is far better than these dalal's of the thier own mother.

Talks at home sets course of children. Even during pregnancy as with Abhimanyu. So do not complain. It is life. They get entry but will succeed with their work. Varun and Maneka also have the same name, but outcome is different.
To Rahul: Congress still needs to depend upon DMK, TC, NCP. Pre Poll alliance does not mean fixed for five years. Pre Poll alliance is only a mathematical method of winning more seats for both the parties by not dividing votes, otherwise it is same as post poll alliance.

Hi Rahul, I too agree with u coz even I wanted that UPA should have won on 272 and I wanted that they would not had to depend on any other parties and compromise on any points.
Although, me too, belong to a super class sc Sikh, like Boota Singh, however, sins to be exposed. All Maharastrians possess some or other kinds of fake reservation certificates which they use in other states and various professional colleges. Even, their Brahmins possess sc certificates and get all sorts of benefits from other states. In every 10 Maharastrian families, you will find one freedom fighter. There was a time when Nehru and Patel empowered some of their own people to issue these certificates. During that time, these fake certificates were issued at random in these states, specially, Bihar, UP, Punjab and Maharastra. Today, we could perceive the reflection of those corruptions from their fiscal status.
The empowerment of the weaker sections of society — scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, OBCs, minorities and women — has been an article of faith with the Indian National Congress. This will be carried forward with emphasis on education, particularly skill-based and professional education. Education at all stages — primary, secondary and university — will be free in all respects for boys and girls belonging to dalit and adivasi communities. Coaching fees for all entrance exams for at least one lakh scheduled caste/scheduled tribe students every year will be paid by the Central Government. National scholarships for boys and girls belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes will be further increased. The Indian National Congress will also make a beginning to induct youth into organs of government. As a beginning, it will reserve a proportion of seats in panchayats and nagarpalikas for men and women below the age of 35 years without detriment to the existing reservations for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, OBCs and women. An unprecedented special drive was launched by the Prime Minister and over 53,000 vacancies in government have been filled through direct recruitment or promotion of members belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. This drive will continue.
rahul gandhi was talking about the nuclear deal with some school students and was repeated mentioning IAEA. When one of the kids asked him the full form of IAEA...he stammered and said that he did not know it. What a joke this rahul gandhi is. Only in India we have this family based politics. Tell me what is the qualification of sonia Gandhi, rahul gandhi and priyanka.....just that they are from the gandhi family. All others have to work hard and come up and these people use money power, corruption and the congress chamchas to stay in power.
