THAROOR WAS BEST CANDIDATE IN TRIVANDRUM..THE CPI CANDIDATE(I DON'T RECOLLECT HIS NAME), NEELALOHITADASAN NADAR OF BSP(CRIMINAL CASE AGAINST HIM FOR SEXUALLY ABUSING AN IAS OFFICER), KRISHNA DAS OF BJP(BJP HAS NO STRENGTH WITHOUT O.RAJAGOPAL, MARAR OR RAMAN PILLAI) WERE NOT AS GOOD AS THAROOR.

External Affairs minister has to be Pranab Mukherjee. Shashi Tharoor can at best be Minister of State and not a cabinet ranked minister.

it is highly appreciable that he came from loksabha fighting election rather than choosing rajya sabha which he could have easily done thats great for indian democracy
In the past we have seen many highly educated canditates with abroad degrees doin nothing for thier constituency. Eg : Sachin Pilot, Jotiraditya scindia, Milind deora etc. Shame on these candidates who are fit for page3 & nothing else.

Dear sameer I am form Jotiraditya scindia's constituency. I know what he has done for us. Come and visit this small city in the MP heart and U will come to know. Never speak any thing like this in this area even the opposition party workers will not spare you. Dear know the ground reallity. Today again he has won the election by a margine of 201000 votes. It counts.

Mr Clement might be right. But I am with Mr Sameer, as the rest of the Indians do not relate to the Scindias. they might have done enough to keep getting elected.
In the case of Mr Tharoor, we expect him to do things for the country and not for our local place, though we in Trivandrum are very happy to send him to the Parliament. And our expectations are not for our locality but for the country at large.
