Given the rich global experience in UN, as Under Secretary General, Dr.Shashi Tharoor has all the qualities to be inducted in Dr.Singh's cabinet as the Union Min. for External Affairs.
It would be a great step forward in seeing Dr.Tharoor holding that crucial portfolio with
Mr.S.S.Menon, as the Foreign Affairs Secretary.

I am in Trivandrum, and I am very happy to get Mr Tharoor elected to represent us in the Parliament.

However I do not want him to do anything particular for Trivandum or Kerala. He should speak, work and behave like an Indian; and he should put the interests of the country in priority; ofcource he will do it and succeed.
