why brand BJP communal
by R Balasubramanian on May 04, 2009 01:22 PM  | Hide replies

When other parties strongly support muslims and christians, they are not branded communal. But when BJP supports Hindus cause against persistant attacks on their religion and activities by other communities, they are branded communal. BJP wants one nation, one rule, one law and one people i.e., Indian and all facilities to be equally distributed by the government to the people of different class depending on their present status. Is it communal? Whats pakistan Taliban doing? They have evicted sikhs who were living there for morethan fifty years, for non payment of Jasia and now they have lost all their hard earnings and are living in make shift arrangements provided by the government as refugees? The entire world is silent on this and our country and all secular leaders have spineless remained mute for fear of backlash by muslims in the election. Great Buddha's century old monolyth statue in Afghanistan was vandalised and grazed. The entire world stood and watched mutely. Now a pakistani Singer is killed by her own brothers and the world is yet again silent. On the other hand, this country having majority hindu population gladly accepted, reverred and regarded (including self) singers, music directors, lyrist, actors and actress who were and are muslims including the crude sadist painter Hussain.
When people brand BJP communal which supports the cause of Hindus in general then all Hindus are considered as Communal. Is it True Secular ? Let us be human.

Balu

Leave Aside Religion
by sudhir chauhan on May 04, 2009 12:05 PM

The time has come when we all change our religion - and that too as Humanity. We are all human beings, religion has divided us and made us enemy of each other, we all have used religion to get power. It has been grossly misused.

We accepted common standards for everything across the word - to measure weight, height, maths, moving on road, but why we did not accepted or made common standards for religion. because we all love power, we are selfish, we are not social.

JAGO INDIA JAGO.

Talk about 21st century
by Rajeev Shukla on May 04, 2009 11:32 AM  | Hide replies

While we keep talking about moving to 21st century and no discrimination on the basis of caste, this educated gentleman here rips apart the very fabric of the society to shreds to expose the dirty underbelly.
Why should we even be talking or thinking of religions and castes if we don't want to divide the society on the basis of religion or caste.

Thanks, voting a good person from any party will in the begining may create an unstable government but ultimately it might lead to a better team which can lead nation.
Sanyasi Swami Ramdev too is asking to vote a better, less corrupt person as 100% honest is not possible. That crop has to be grown by us only in due course of time.
Mr Khan, This is our country and we have to rebuild.

Guru Dandamis
Democrazy
by Guru Dandamis on May 04, 2009 11:28 AM

Indian muslims are enjoying the benefits of democracy, though not to the fullest extent because of these political parties. They just view Muslims as vote banks and are not bothered about their social development. Muslims cannot vote for BJP because of their communal politics. Its a waste for them to vote for Congress as they will just use Muslims as vote bank and nothing good done for them. The best option for Muslims is to form a National Party, be united and fight the elections in all Muslim dominated constituencies. To do this, they should not allow any political party to play divisive role among Muslims. It is very tough but not impossible. Only then will Muslim rights be safegaurded in India. Till then, they are always victims of this vicious netas.
