The biggest problem of muslims in India is to wallow in self pity and helplessness. The article is just another exihibition of it. It you want the world to respect you, learn to be self reliant first. How many muslim reformers have created waves in the last fifty years? Has anybody taken up the cause of literacy, women upliftment, the hallmarks of any developing society, among muslim communities in the last fifty years? In democracy you will get only those leaders you aspire for. If the muslims community voted for caste and sommunity, not for development and upliftment. Thats what you will get. As long as this vision is not set right the community will never develop. You will continue to blame the political system of this country, the RSS the BJP of the world for your failures.

Did you by any chance watch Aashta Channel during 1st April to 7th April. It was a function at Patanjali Yogpetha Haridwar where hundreds of people from different walk and faith , mostly learned in religion came. Dalailama was one of them who spoke and one muslim fellow , very leaned and forward did speak. I am forgetting his name. Person with white cloths and white turban did talk things of real worth. Please do not say that muslim reformers are not there. Right from Kabir to Sat Sai and many whom are their whom we are unable to see because of cluod in our eyes. British devided this nation, let us try not to devide it further if we can not do repair.
When other parties strongly support muslims and christians, they are not branded communal. But when BJP supports Hindus cause against persistant attacks on their religion and activities by other communities, they are branded communal. BJP wants one nation, one rule, one law and one people i.e., Indian and all facilities to be equally distributed by the government to the people of different class depending on their present status. Is it communal? Whats pakistan Taliban doing? They have evicted sikhs who were living there for morethan fifty years, for non payment of Jasia and now they have lost all their hard earnings and are living in make shift arrangements provided by the government as refugees? The entire world is silent on this and our country and all secular leaders have spineless remained mute for fear of backlash by muslims in the election. Great Buddha's century old monolyth statue in Afghanistan was vandalised and grazed. The entire world stood and watched mutely. Now a pakistani Singer is killed by her own brothers and the world is yet again silent. On the other hand, this country having majority hindu population gladly accepted, reverred and regarded (including self) singers, music directors, lyrist, actors and actress who were and are muslims including the crude sadist painter Hussain. When people brand BJP communal which supports the cause of Hindus in general then all Hindus are considered as Communal. Is it True Secular ? Let us be human.
