i think may be it is pro congress as if people were angry with it(as they should be) ,there would have been a high turnout against it. Alas ,we may have to bear congis and UPA again. india is on destructive path as people do not care who the manager is !

it hardly matters who the ruler is.unless you are a musi who has a religious duty to vote for his fatwa or a poor person who want Rs 100 for voting what is the purpose of going and voting.

Sorry I guess you had a typo error. You meant to write this about Congress but ended up typing BJP. It happens when you think of something so much that you see him/her all around.
This is called love. This nation and BJP have a 'love' relationship between themselves.
If people dont want to, let it be. Politician are worried that if voting falls below 30 % than the validity of election could be challenged. So they are cunningly arousing some patriotic dimension to it. But people dont vote because they have nothing to do with this political process. If i dont vote than, i dont care whoever comes to rule as i am firmly convinced that it hardly matters who comes to rule, all are same so why waste my few hours and vote.
To my opinion untill one person get 1 more votes than another, he should be clared winner and this tamasha should go on.
As long as my freedom is not affected i am fine with it.
Shame on Mumbaikars who got berserk after 26/11 attacks. Why didn't they showed the same passion in today's voting, only they can answer. It's not the first time mumbai has recorded low percentage of voting.mumbai is suppose to have highest literate people compared to other tribal, rural areas, still they didn't made the vote count.
All the mumbaikars must learn from Kasnhiri people, really!!!!Kashmiri people should be appluaded immnensely for this. The state is taking so much beating by the terrorist still the spirit of the indian kashmiris r at the peak all the time,be it in voting or tourism. The kashmir state recorded 65% of voting for state election,a lesson for mumbaikars, who most of the time behave like a barking dog

BJP is a rich party too.....People like you close eyes on reality. Give credit and legitimacy to whoever wins, don't make foolish statements.
It's a matter of shame for the "most progressive city in the country". Only 43 percent! The tribal villagers of Jharkhand are better than you, Mumbaiites. And the way you consider yurself the centre of the universe!Everything that happens in Mumbai is supposed to be of "earth-shaking national importance". You don't know that floods like 26/7 happen every year in many parts of the country, and attacks like 26/11 happen every week in Kashmir, the North-East and the naxalite affected regions. One day I made the mistake of asking a Mumbaiite who Vijay Saleskar was. He looked at me uin shocked disbelief-"YOU-NEVER-HEARD-OF-HIM??" Of course I've never heard of him, you fool, I wanted to say. You expect every person in this vast land of India to know of your petty local affairs and shed tears over your local miseries or what?? And "India" doesn't end at Virar and Ambarnath, as you think. IT STARTS THERE.

Its not only people's fault. It was a working day and corporate world does not give any holiday for election day. It deprives all the people working there from voting

Agreed, election should have been on Sunday or on 1st May. EC should get to the ground reality & look from voters perspective.
