shame on these mumbaikars. they crib about the shoddy infrastructure, cry about the attacks, and blame the govt for everything. yet when it is time to do something, they would rather stay home and watch lcd tv's than go and exercise their votes. worthless maanus.

Mumbaikar think holiday is good then voting
by Debasish dutta on May 01, 2009 04:32 AM  | Hide replies

I was at Dadar station on voting day early morning (4:30 - 5 am)... I seen extraordinary rush to catch express trains. People going on long holiday to utilize Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun...

only Rail authorities can tell how many tickets booked for those days...
at station most of the people were dicussing about IPL... this really sucks!!

People don't only travel by train.

We should check how many left by their own cars and how many by ST/pvt buses.

Then we should also check the "middle finger" of every body and see if, like me, they had stuck it up the brown bags of our supposed to be netas.

Now we should try and realize why 56.48% did not vote.

After 26/11 did any party give us a credible candidate?

You are right....it REALLY sucks that in a city that has repeatedly been bombed, people have no interest at all in voting out a govt that's been criminally and wilfully negligent on issues of internal security. Nothing can save such people from being ultimately annihilated. If threats to life don't move people, I don't know what will. This is a phenomenon unique to India and Indians.

Mumbai has lost faith in all parties. Well we all lost faith in Cong long back.
But Shiv Sena and MNS did not do their job when they were needed to protect Marathi Manoosh. 26/11.

Internet Voting
by Comming Soon on May 01, 2009 03:22 AM  | Hide replies

As India an IT giant the Government should push for Internet/Online Voting so those who don't want to come out, they can stay at home and vote. If Internet Banking is Successfull in India, then Internet Voting will be too success.

Let's hope BJP wins this election and implement this as their manifesto says that.

BJP has been always raised demand for remote voting rights to people who are out of their constituencies, cities, states or even country.
Congress and other corrupt parties never reached to consensus on this.

who got favors from 'Indian National Congress' through reserve for 'UPLIFT',who later forgot the 'Blessing in Disguise' for worldly lust and narrow at Heart.
These forces are not traditional or progressive either ,just selfish.

They didn't find confused advani a 'DOER for them',more trusted on second fiddle 'modi'.

Thats why these mads didn't vote.

anyhow 'INC' got it share to 'UPLIFT' the needy also educate a New Middle CLASS ,where Humanity is part of 'EVERYBODY' S Life.

I just conclude here that:

ADVANI and MODI are DOERs
INC talks about UPLIFT but only ends up UPLIFTING their own stature and extracting the MIDDLE CLASS to their END.

Is this what you are trying to mean?

Sorry I guess you had a typo error. You meant to write this about Congress but ended up typing BJP.
It happens when you think of something so much that you see him/her all around.

This is called love. This nation and BJP have a 'love' relationship between themselves.
