The writer has unnnecessarily dragged in the neighbouring state politician into the issue. Every politician in India tries to promote his constitutency and state only. Ample evidence is there if you look at the number of new defence units that have come up in Kerala after Mr. Anthony has taken over as defence. Forget new units, Tamilnadu does not even have a naval command hq like Kochi or Airforce command HQ at Trivandram despite having a far bigger city as its capital.
