Every coin has two sides. And at least in this specific case, both are responsible for their share of troubles. So supporting either is a matter of choice and not morals or ethics.

Do you have any idea how much more prosperous India could have become if it were not for this so-called mixed economy? Other countries have become 5 times to 10 times more prosperous than India since 1947 even though they started at the same level. This includes China and South Korea.
Don't give too much credit to Nehru for starting IITs and IIMs. He was PM for 17 years. He had to do something in all those years. Why didn't he implement universal schooling like other countries did? In ten years, Deng Xiaoping turned his country around. With Nehru and the Congress after 60 years India is still a basket case with the largest number of poor people in world.
We hindus are idiots. We have been voting congress over years and they have been backstabbing us ever since independence. Even today we cant see the fact as it is. We deserve to be the victims of jihadisss

Someone personal life need not be discussed in public. But the voters need to know the personal history of the candidate. Sashi Taroor's wife (second one) is a foreign Christian. He divorced his first (Indian) wife. He has two children (out of his first one, it seems). No wonder his is so close the Mainos from Italy.

sir, i appreciate your views & quite agree with you. today secularism in India is indirectly- Anti-majoritism. in that sense your comparison of Hindus to the blacks of south America is quite true for this land. though we are not that oppressed like the blacks but we should start standing up for our rights. like why can't we own some institution here, when Christian missionaries can own 100s n evade taxation and then create a brainwashed lot of people to head our ELM n further degrade our system. Christianity with all its glamor outside and dirty rot inside is spreading like the AIDS virus and eating into our society.
