MSD , great captain, wise man and amazing criketer all rolled into one. In one shot he has also raced ahead of of the other great legends of yester year who waited till the selecters ejected them. He has also groomed Kohli and made sure that the new captain does not have to deal with a heavy weight in the team. MSD has more years of cricket in him in the shorter versions and I am sure he will serve India well. Indeed a true champion.
Now all will praise MSD and blame the bowlers and batsmen who have let down the team for the past two years. But when he loses the test, everybody questioned only on his captaincy and have not realized the fact.
Good and correct decision taken by MSD. Test cricket is different from 20 overs and 50 overs match. Let another WK batsman can try to spoton. Uttahappa can be a ideal choice in place of MSD.
MSD decision to retire from Test Cricket is as Bold a decision which only a Captain Like Him Can Take. He cannot be held responsible for loss in overseas Tests in the last 4 years as because India does not have any Match Winning Bowler who is consisten in Test Level.
