Tendulkar should step down
by Rabindra Datta on Mar 25, 2013 11:22 AM  | Hide replies

It is high time for Tendulkar to retire with honour. He is already blocked the place for youngsters.

so why is your backside burning if he is still there in the team and captain and selectors and budding youngsters have no problem with him and instead look upto him.

Tendulkar should retire immediately
by Rabindra Datta on Mar 25, 2013 11:20 AM  | Hide replies

If he has got a little self-respect, he should immeditely retire from Test Cricket. He has done enough for Indian Cricket and now it is high time to step down, so that youngsters can geet chance. And BCCI is also a spineless body. Why they don't tell Tendulkar to retire?

don't do anything to youngstars what kapil did to kuruvilla, the poor guy was never like what he promised to be by the time kapil was practically forced to retire..these guys don't know when to retire.. I have, in my lifetime, seen only srinath exit gracefully.. rest all were kicked out..do you know anyone else??? name them plz...don't remember how gavaskar went out.

Gavaskar scored 181 against, i think, australia batting from the rest of the world team and retired after that match gracefully. He was in full form when he retired. Had he clinged on like tendulkar did, he surely would have scored atleast 10 more centuries in test cricket.

If Sachin was Australian he would have been "requested" to retire 10 years ago!

Indians are too sentimental and that is why everybody from political parties like Congress parties to illegal immigrants from neighboring countries take advantage of India!

Tendulkar should make way for Manoj Tiwari
by crusader on Mar 25, 2013 11:04 AM  | Hide replies

Tendulkars miserable run continues and team India is suffering because of that. Its high time he decided to hang his boots as cricket is a professional game and he is not doing any charity by playing for India. Perform or Perish should be the sole criteria. He has done his job, amassed fame /fortune. Now its time to make way for others.
His so called experience did not do anything for India at crunch situations even on home conditions .. He is a pale/miserable shadow of his past greatness and should definitely make way for youngsters.

No. He is holding his spot in the Indian team for his son Arjun.

He has a firm belief that Arjun can also make his debut at 16 (which is exactly 2 years and 5 months and 29 days away) like Sachin did.

"Selfish & unselfish" dont exist in 10dulkar's books - only Runs & Money. If he retires, both will vanish - hence he will NEVER retire - needs to be pushed out ....
