If the players knew what was wrong and what should be done, then what is thew coach's function. Suspension was too harsh but instead they should have been warned and if they failed in the 3rd test, then another i opportunity given and if they failed again, then suspended when they got back home. Actually, Pattison hasb een perfoming as a bowler5 with 5 wkts in the 1st test. He could have done better at Mohali. MItchel Johnson may have been peeved as he has been overlooked in the previous two tests. It is true much was expected of Watson who has been voted the best player twice but his experience in India has mainly been in the IPL and got out to strokes that he would have done in the IPL. As for Kwaja, he again had been dropped and could only have said 'pl give me a chance instead of HUghes who has failed badly. If theyt lose the series they now have a reason.
if aussies, are getting everything wrong, it is certainly a benefit for us. let them do as many mistakes as they can. Do our best to praise every mistake of them, so that they keep on committing them more. Please encourage them

In slightly different tone - we would have been left with four players and sack everyone else :)))
They are sportsmen not corporate officers to make presentations. Sportsmen make presentation on field and training sessions not in A/C closed doors. I think it's just a move by Australia to rest it's key players as they now know that they cannot win series. If they lose which they have a great chance they have a perfect alibi and if they equal they are heros plus they have rested their key players and got them ready for the ashes....
whats the job of a coach- to expect presentation from each player, or to give presentation to each players? if every player starts presentation then whats the job of a coach. y he is there?
warne was right that coaches r not required to get success.
Cricket is a game of individual talent and skills.... how can one ask players to present how to improve? It is the coach's job to identify and put an improvement plan.... If it was so simple for someone to put a presentation and put a how to improve plan...then every team will be a champions...
What would have happened if Indian Team Management had made such a demand when Praveen Kumar and Munaf Patel were in the team? Poor boys would sure get the boot ..... not knowing what a 'presentation' is!
