Hhehehe.
Tendi will be very happy that potential wicket takers are not there in the 3rd test. gives him opportunity to score another 50 & secure his place for next 50 months. hehehe

Arjun tendulkar is destined to see his father and son play together -- his father of course will be a unique sight - holding a bat on one hand and a walking stick on the other.

Similar thing ended Symonds' career too
by Ramanan on Mar 11, 2013 06:07 PM  | Hide replies

A similar disciplinary action for a "gone fishing" excuse ended Andrew Symonds' career too in a haste when he did not attend a net practice session. That too was initiated by Clarke. Clarke's showing that discipline comes above name and reputation and even current form.

MSD hinted it
by Prak on Mar 11, 2013 06:01 PM

i guess the team environ is just not good. Dhoni had advised Clarke 'screaming at players does not help'. it really does not. players must be disgruntled by that. looks like pup is in a ego trip, imagining this team to be like the golden oldies... wake up kid!!

Unfair to Bangladesh
by Loveable on Mar 11, 2013 05:36 PM  | Hide replies

Today Bangladesh created history by putting up their best ever batting performance, and too on foreign soil. Many Congratulations to them. However, thanx to Micky Arthur, they have been unfairly denied the adulations and attention they deserve. Let us also spare a thought for them........

Power Points

My 3 points to Micky Arthur:

1. Ask BCCI to provide green top wickets.
2. Ask BCCI to field India B team.
3. Resign and ask Lehmann to take over as coach.

coach should have been axed...
by arvin g on Mar 11, 2013 05:23 PM  | Hide replies

so now writing essays will be a required if want to play test cricket... the whole thing is so absurd... it is the coach who should be axed rather than those 4 players...

yes if catain is supporting coach in axing of players then captain should be axed as well... u get some punishment for not doing ur home work but not suspension from school... they could have fined them but suspension for not writing a essay... it is way beyond even a bird-brained moron...

arvin g, thats what was given to them a fine not suspended...they were not banned from playing just one match fine...like any captain gets if his bowlers bowl slowly...havent your heard of captains being fined a test for slow overrates? dhoni himself was banned for one test in aus for slow over rate of indian bowlers...this is just like that...

Cannot think such a thing happening in Indian Team - of course, I am not saying about indiscipline, but about taking actions.
