In place of Ajinkya Rahane Suresh Raina should have been considered and in place of Ashok Dinda Mohammed Shami should have been included, otherwise the team looks ok

Oh what basis..Raina sucks in Test cricket to short bowling..Rahane was selected since last Downunder tour but never got chance in playing 11. What u expect bombay player to come in first match and score 300. Give him 100 chances like Raina or Yuvraj in test he will be far more better in than them. Jaffer not selected most disgusting. He is consistent performer. Jaffer has 3more years to go. he scored century in every series except Australia Series. or else he was consistent performer

i agree with your later part of the response on Jaffer, he should have been included in the team. But tell me where are you going to fit Rahane in which place ?

Where is Irfan Pathan again politics keeps the best allrounder of India out of team...and for your information Irfan averages more than Raina as batsman in tests along with his 100 wickets in 29 tests including 1 over hattrick.
I am disappointed not to see Ambati Rayudu. What else he needs to do get a selection. So is the case with Raina. He is worth minimum assurance of 60 runs (30 from the bat another 30 savings from fielding) What is Haribhajan doing in the team. His prime is behind him. Nobody has guts to drop Sachin.
