Actually, we r deciding it on the basis of matches won. Actually, there are no any key batsmen in most of the countries. We will have to win against Africa who is having good batsmen. All others are new. So, we are winning. In Australia there is no Hayden, Gilchrist who were terminator. In Newzealand also there are no any key batsmen. Actually, Ganguly is the best batsman and Captain.

But than dhoni doesn't have sewang, sachin, dravid, laxman, kumble, srinath? either are retired or past prime?
Still dhoni has won 2 world cups, while googly none?

Vinay...if you don't know about cricket and captaincy then just keep quiet. Dhoni is shitttt and ganguly is best captain. The players you mentioned Ganguly brought, Sehwag, harbhajan, zaheer, yuvraj into the team. So more than half the team was built by him which is important beacuse always there are 2-3 places in the team which remain weak. But he removed those weak links. then he was bold as captain. thats why he is best captain. Look at dhoni's choice of player Jadeja, Ashwin, Raina, sharma (fast bowler). They are all average players, thats why team is suffering.

Here we are talking about test cricket mate (breddy last). loosing 8 test matches on trot vs Eng and Aus is humiliating to say the least. I have never felt such shame in Indian cricket not even in 80s and 90s. Why this happened? no unity in the team, poor team selection. Who is responsible?... Captain, the fool dhobi

Most of present palyers of team India was inducted by Ganguly. Acknowledging truth does not degrade others.
Googly got key players like dravid, sachin, sewang, kumble, at their peak... While dhoni got aging team.. Comparing teams under googly and dhoni, obviously googly is lucky to get better team... Yet dhoni's captaincy record is much better than googly!!!
