I dont know why Indian Cricketers are biased. If Dhoni records tells Dhoni is the Best captain than he is. Ganguly would be the best if he had the best record than Dhoni. So whats the point saying he was the best or someone else is the best.
Donkeys have some brain and see records , there is nothing in crickets except records.
Dhoni is nowhere when compared to Ganguly. he was his team leader..while Dhoni had got luck lady besides him. He has no strategy or plan for any match. most of the victories came through the batting strength rather than bowling effort!!

not only world cup dude 2 world cups and became no.1 in tests 1st time and also in ODI under dhoni's caiptancy
Both are a class in themselves but sure I give more credit to Ganguly to get Indian cricket where it is now. Ganguly was one who instilled that confidence and figthing attitude in his Indian cricket and not that of meek submission which comes naturally to us. ITs not just statistics which can be used like Work Cup winning but the overall process to reach there - the winning was an outcome of overall grooming which he initiated and obviously Dhoni carried it...So kudos to both Indian stars but I still feel that Ganguly is Guru and Dhoni is his disciple.
Neither Ganguly nor Dhoni are great or for that matter even good by any means. Kapil was certainly a better captitain when compared to these two overrated players. Media should stop making a mockery of these inept, inefficient players and report objectively!!!
In every respect Dhoni is the best captain India ever had. Close second is only Kapil Dev. Rest others are just average captains. That is why both of them won old cups and performed captain knpcks at critical junctures. Dhoni can figure in all time greatest top 10 captains in world cricket with likes of Steve Waugh, Clyve llyod, Imran Khan etc.
I think Azhar was the best.But His family was very poor so he started fixing matches because of that India lost some matches. he was from such a poor family that he could not afford Ferary, only Rs 5 lac worth bike for his son and Like this he has to compromise in his life.Otherwise he is the best.
