Biased lickers at it again, If Gavaskar is impartial, based on current performance of Sachin, should advised directly to give up, instead asking Selectors to speak to Sachin? for what, before killing a goose, do they ask if it needs to be killed or not?

Sorry state of affairs in Cricket administration and totally biased lickers like Shaz and Gavaz

it is all abt high mind set of bcci
by soco on Nov 26, 2012 12:46 PM

it never seems to care abt who are test players and who are not

Yuvraj is utter failure, we see no player getting so many chances to get into test team as he has got ... big shame on him if he wants to just prove himself the same at national level cricket

similary Kohli,Gambhir,Dhoni has never had in them the zeal for test cricket

Sachin has been out of form for cricket but not for bcci who cannot put this guy out... shame to sachin his 23yrs of cricket has never inculcated the thing called "for the nation"
he plays for his self... now a big shame once a big hero

sehwag is not 100% in form.. but he was all in the team for whole year when he was consistently failing thanks to bcci again
why zaheer included when consistently he is failing for dhoni he may be sachin of bowling but can there not be any replacement for him

bhajji is back but for wat use...far and wide he gets a wicket or 2 ... but rides on the favourism of bcci

so all these are culprits of destroying the winning chances of the country backed by soundrels and bafoons in bcci lack of accountability towards the country...

shame to bcci and shame to these players who are not test player and those who are out of form ... good job man in destroying the countries chances

what is pujara had performed in 2nd test as well ... no cry would have been heard

shame to captain dhoni as well.

Selectors Should select Sachin's son in team
by Karthikan K on Nov 26, 2012 12:35 PM

Selectors should select Sachin's son in team to ask for his retirement, because it is his wish to play with his son for India. I don't know whether his wish will end at here or he may wish to play with his grandson too for India?????

Why Dhobi or Selectors are so silent.
by sujay on Nov 26, 2012 12:31 PM

Why others are not given similar long rope as it is given to Tendulkar, be Ganguly or Laxman why they were treated so shabbily. Why Dhobi is silent. Always he will be so outspoken.

Retirement age not yet reached
by mushu nawaz on Nov 26, 2012 12:20 PM

Remember...the retirement age in india is 60 yrs.
How can the selectors force him to retire ? still he has 20 years of time left in him.

Sachin should be dropped
by thengazhikam mamen on Nov 26, 2012 12:17 PM  | Hide replies

First of all Opening of India is not all satisfcatory. Give chance to New faces for opening. India's batting and bowling are very poor. Improvement in all side is necessary.

Sachin be dropped. He is no longer indispensable now. Others like Gambhir, Sehwag, Zaheer, Harbhajan etc. should be rested. New faces with potetial should be brought in, both in batting & bowling.

Dhoni ... too predictable.,
by Aditya Misra on Nov 26, 2012 12:10 PM  | Hide replies

The measures needed to be taken for revival of Indian team are:-
1. Change the bowling attack - Rest Zaheer and Ashwin, bring in Dinda and Piyush Chawla or Amit Mishra in.
2. Rest Sachin, Sehwag, Gambhir; bring in Rahane, Manoj Tewari and other new batsmen like Unmukt Chand in.
3. Remove Dhoniu from Captaincy, give it to Raina or Kohli.
4. Bring back Ishant, L Balaji, persist with Umesh Yadav and Dinda...
Keep this team for next 10 matches, assured... see the performance.
Dhoni has become very predictable for the opponents these days... That is why his moves are anticipated and they prepare themselves for them. What is needed is an element of surprise... which can be put up by a new captain with a new set of bowlers...

1. Piyoosh Chawla has not done anything even in ranji circuit to come back into the team. Ashwin has missed out only in 2nd test match. Accept Mishra since he can also bat a bit
2. Totally agree
3. Raina? Seriously? If you are talking abt ODI then maybe. For T20 no better option than Kohli. Tests .... cant think of anyone else!
4. L Balaji? U kidding? He needs to increase his pace if hez got any chance even for consideration in test team. Umesh, Dinda, Varun Aaron (to prove yet) looks a good pace trio
