Well, in current test team, nobody is sure of their place in the side. So, I guess Gambhir and Virat are one eyed in the land of blind men....

Once No. 1 test team by playing all home series and Dhoni thought he can beat the world. We know what happened in Eng & Aus.
gambir it is time to show case ur sporting ability rather focussing on capitancy. MSD has done a very good job making India to clinch the world cup after two decades. despite its a collective effort his "cool temperment " was also a reason for India's success.MS should continue to laed India as he has completed MS in Cricket,His therapy will work. Pls focus on play, time will come to ware the mantle

thats why he averages highest only after sachin and dravid outside india. Your dhoni has an average of 9 runs in aus, sa and england and he is not aggressive at all.
india has lost last 15 test matches played aborad by innings defeat. This has never happened before.
As far as test matches is concerned "MSD" averages 45 in subcontinent pitches and apart from Sachin ,Rahul,VVS mostly all indian batsman have struggled in foreign pitches,though some decision taken by dhoni doesnt look to be good still he is the best man to lead team INdia in all formats,so gambhir u shld concentrate on ur batting rather then dreaming of becoming indias captain.And anyone who speaks that he wants to become captain should immediately be sidelined cause its the selectors job and it clearly shows that gambhir and sehwag are too much jealous of MSD and he becoming such a big brand after sachin.His comments shld be taken seriously by bcci and he should never ever be made captain,actually a player with that sought of temperament should never be encouraged to become captain,He is just trying to divide the team by saying such comments and that too after winning one single IPL trophy ,that too would not have been posssible if alone "sunil naraine "was not there in his team,so gambhir please dont speak non sence and just concentrate on ur batting.
This guy has good cricket in him...But whenever he opens his mouth it all goes to drains...To make this guy indian skipper is going to be big trouble. His views are appeared to be just to oppose some seniors views. He feels insecure becoz he doesnt know wht he is talking about...Successful team makes successful captain sure but its true vice versa too..Most of the time whn team looses the first guy gets blame is captain that true but when team wins captain gets most of the credit as well..Its very responsible position..Gambhir seems to be last resort. If Dhoni wants to retire from test captancy, Veru is other option..the guy has plaed more than decade and have vast experience...

sorry to say but gauti and sehwag both don't deserve to be captains.. see the plight of delhi daredevils under the captainship of sehwag, due to his wrong decisions the team inspite of topping the table could not clear playoffs. Gambir as u said is good criciketer but not mature enough like sehwag to be captain in tests or ODI's

We must not forget that Ghambhir was one of the chief arctitect of the triumph over Sri Lanka at the 2011 WC finals,specially after we lost Sachin's precious wicket early.And Dhoni's captaincy abroad is terrible! We have lost 8 test matches in a row, which have not happened in last 40 yrs.!!It's time to go for a change.

India lost 8 test matches in row becuase of poor batting and bowling and not poor captainship..I must also say that Gambhir and Yuvi were the chief architects of india's WC2011 win..But Dhoni was cool, mature head which allowed players to flourish..
Though it is an immature statement by Gambhir, but he could have been given a chance bcoz, Dhoni himself hinted to retire from the longer version of the game. So this is the right time to take the step forward....

Girish, you are absolutely Wrong..he did not say Gambhir wont play 2015.he said abt himself that he does not know whether he would play 2015 WC.
