People who like ganguly are probably not the type that read much .... maybe a masala movie with salman khan as hero will work for them.

Dude, ganguly is admired for the way he backed players and never picked someone simply because he belonged to his state. How many people would do it? We need to give him credit and not run him down simply because he belongs to bengal!

I admired ganguly's fighting spirit. but the reason for him not picking his state mates is because there was hardly any body to pick from.

Greg did not destroy india team. He made india team. because of him we became no. 1 in all formats of the game at some point of time...

Make your records straight it was not greg chappel(chappal) but GARY KIRSTEN. Once greg chappal left and Gary Kirsten joined things were upwards and once GARY KIRSTEN left again things downward. Do not lick the chappals of greg.(But alas that is one thing we learnt from coloniaism)

when greg was there also we were winning decent no. of matches. except the wc we were winning when greg was coach too. it was he who was responsible for young blood coming in the indian team. maybe you wont like it but good as kirsten was it was due to greg that new generation players came into the team. if greg was not our coach we would have played with ganguly, kumble, laxman, dravid etc. in CB series, T20 Wc and Odi Wc and i doubt whether we would have won any of these with these old warriors.
it was because of greg that new generation players got so much chances, confidence security etc. and finally we became no. 1 in all formats.
as for gary kirsten he is now coaching SA. what is happening there? they lost to zimbabwe. see? so like i said good though he was he could not have done what greg did viz. introducing new blood in the indian team because of which we went to the top position...

Absoultely Sunil.Greg Chapell was the one who was the selector of the Australian team that got the revival and further won the 1987 World cup. Where there is a will, there is a way.if the Indian team is highly inconsistent and vehement on playing ordinary cricket, it is not the coach's job to take the bat and ball and play in the field for these people.
Rahul Dravid is one of the best batsmen. He is a match winner in many occasions in Test match cricket..his technique is unbelievable and temperament is outstanding..He along with Laxman have been match winners on many occasions and saved or won matches for India. He is simply not called the "WALL". Bowlers go through a torrid time trying to breakthrough his solid defence. Its a treat to watch Dravid play. And to see how is has adapted to T20 cricket and succeeded is fantastic and we should correct our statments when calling him only a test match player..THere may be another Sachin Tendulkar,,but never another Rahul Dravid. Well done Rahul!!!
He was far too involved with himse;f & seldom took decisions on his own.He was either dependent on Grieg or Saurav off & On the field. He is not sure of most answers that starts & end with may be.
to get his 200 in one of test match , that show how jealous and envious he was about sachin , he used to hate sachin , but sachin forgiven him many times ,.

I DONT THINK SO. Did Sachin tell you that? Any captain should think about the team first and then think after the pseudo-gods in the team
