No Patch-up Work. We need to scratch from scratch

Axing Dhoni is not a good option. One has to think about the future. The team is performing poorly. No one is able to get runs or wickets. New captain will make no difference. With a change in the coach, things need to be realigned before going ahead. Give the players a break from continuous cricket. Let them play some domestic matches. Pick out top 30 players. Anticipate the retirement of ageing players and groom a future captain. Just like what Australia did. Groomed Clarke n not axed Ponting straight away. in the next 5 years Viru, Yuvi, Bhajji, Zak, Dhoni, T'Kar, Gambhir, Dravid n Laxman will go. So let them decide their own retirement and in the mean while groom some one like Kohli or Raina for captain. Its unfair that the board makes them play to make money and start axing them when they fail to perform. The team did not get a chance under the new coach to regroup. Coach is a key person and methodology differs. Greg Chapple was unsuccessful but tried to build a team from scratch. That is important not axing skippers.

why he is pointing on Dhoni.if he has to removed from captain ., then is it he wants to fill his gap for someone who plays like him, who hardly win during his time.instead you never thinks what pitch required for overseas win.whether coach is properly using his technique.what is reason continuous cricket played..?Will Indian test cricket will float without Dhoni..? so stop that ridiculous madan lal & his followers criticizing .if you taste Win you have to taste loss also for true sportsmanship.

he is right.
Dhoni is most non performing batsman in captain for last 7 yrs & big flop in every overseas tour.
who cares for captaincy.
Captaincy doesn;t win matches. Its batting bowling & catchin win matches
Evem madan lal was better batsman than dhoni in test format

Indian Cricket Team

The BCCI have to call all the three veterans and offer a timed departure for them. This should be done as recognition for their contribution to Indian cricket. It hurts me to watch them playing pathetically in Australia especially Sachin as you do not want your greatest player to be humiliated by all the new ball bowlers who were in their diapers when Sachin made his test debut. Some of them might not have been born when Sachin made his test debut.

When someone is still there in the middle not-out how can you ask for his departure.Virat is a good fieldsman but not a regular slipfielder.

How come none of the former players have asked for Sachin to retire? Why are the baying for Dravid & VVS's head?

that's what I was thinking too. The reason is that nobody in India has the guts to ask for Sachin's head.
