criticise sachin, when he scored heavily in flat pitches but fails to even replicate 30% of what he did in dead sub continental pitches,is a person becomes insulated to any criticism just because his name ends with a "kar" and he comes from a certain place.

Team India should ban from Test matches
by Cricket Review on Jan 07, 2012 09:09 PM

With this selection and captaincy, India should be banned for any test matches playing abroad. I don’t believe if BCCI says this is the possible best team and captain available in India …ha ha , its just rubbish, which means they don’t track any performance apart from selected these fools

Narayanan Mahalingam
Duncan Fletcher????
by Narayanan Mahalingam on Jan 07, 2012 08:34 PM

Why is nobody questioning Duncan Fletcher? He is getting a fat paycheck and merrily coaching a loosing team. What is the role the bowling coach is contributing? The bowlers seem to have to clue to how to bowl. Think that foul mouthed Manoj Prabhakar would do a better job.
The worst investment BCCI has made. Find a suitable Indian person to coach the team.

After this dismal performnc , No statements, no concerns raised by the Board - amazing isnt it.
They are more concerned abt releasng IPL schedule and then of course going after a sports channel for whatever reason!!

First 0-4 in Eng., and no change even now - as SunnyG has rightly said - the Perth story is going to be no better.

India is paying for its policies, not grooming youngsters and over dependenc on big3- everyone's targetng Kohli - how many tests has he played, and he is written off???

Players take time to settle down, even the big3 had their moments in cricket bfore they settled down!

NOW IT IS TOO HARD TO RECOVER.
SRIKANT AND COMPANY did not put best batting such as Jaffer, rahane, rohit sharma. Once india would have strong batting in place, you could have bought the inconsistent in test like gambhir, kohli, sehwag, etc. If kohli and gambhir can impress dhoni with social skills to pull along and sehwag with not controlling his nerves and laxman/dravid having weak nerves and Tendulkar not arresting his wrong tactics and ...

NOW IT IS TOO HARD TO RECOVER.
neither did you put the best spin i.e ojha. Now it is hard to recover from the hit. Ashwin is not in team for his batting.

Ashwin has scored one century and two fifties in six tests.Do you want him to be dropped? Then on what basis gambhir, kohli and laxman are in e team? Will you oppse Ashwin if establishes himself as batsman, which he is already doing>
