Without voluntarily retiring from Indian team Forward caste leeches viz Sachin/Ganguly/Lakshman/Dravid/Gavaskar/Ravi Shastri denied opportunities of many young/talented BC/SC/ST/Minority cricket players.

Recently in a TV debate on the same issue an anchor asked very valid question that dont we have the guts to tell all the so called legends like SACHIN,RAHUL,VVS that if you do not peform, you will not be selected and you cant take your place for granted.Besides they have become like slaves of BCCI who just wants them to play 365 days a year and make money out of this game and now they are avoiding to the responsibilities and just passing the buck on selection committee.

Nothing!
by gitesh malik on Jan 08, 2012 03:06 PM

you cant be expected to excel on pitches where you havent/wont have played more than 5% of time before making a debut. And after debut - it rises to 40% w/o getting a chance to 'really hone it. We need bouncy/pacy/seamy pitches from start up.

cant BCCI ensure that we get thses pictches at home? if we do - India might have crop in next 4-5 years that are as good as Aussies/SA etc...

POOR PERFORMANCE
by estate sapoi on Jan 08, 2012 02:54 PM

Indian Team is hero at his Ground. BCCI should curtail the Match fees amount from the players when the team loose. The attitude of the player is that don't worry we will receive our full match fees, why bother about the win. The match fees should be according to performance of the match. S

performance based
by Nirman on Jan 08, 2012 02:54 PM

Make the match fee performance based. Team looses , They should not get anything. team wins give them double.. If team looses 2 matches in a row then don't give them anything even when they win.. When a individual doesnot perform give hime the same treatment

Australians are a criminal race. They would have threatened Dhoni and his men. And, Dhoni, in his generous state of mind would have told them "Chalo yaar. Jeeth lo. Koyi bath nahin. Thum bi kush raho. Hame yaadh rakhna."

just do this much....
by gaurang patel on Jan 08, 2012 02:36 PM

simply deduct 75% of match fees from Indian cricketers when they lose the match & use that money to help develop other games like hockey, tennis, shooting, boxing, running etc.....give them 100% money only when they won in places like out of India. everyone is like lion when playing at home( as our team when it plays in India its like lion) but when it comes to playing in other countries these lions turn themselves into lame ducks....so when they don't perform overseas just give them 25% of their match fees....i think this much would be enough for them to be on track.....

Weak link in indian cricket.

Sorry the message should read:
I think our openers are letting down the team.Without a decent opening partnership we have no chance of making sizeable score as the failure/early departure of openers pets lot of pressure on nos 3&4 as they virtually become opening pair.Shehwag should bat lower down to stengthen the middle order. But for the sydney test our bowlers have done a commendable job.

Shewag can be replaced either by Dravid or Ashwin to the opening slot. Ashwin has batted very sensibly & calm. He can be a very good alrounder for the future.
