IPL has ruined Indian cricket. Everybody wants to be fit to play their best in IPL for the money it gives. The BCCI is to be blamed for excessive commercialisation of cricket at the cost of proffesionalism. The answer lies in maintaining a balance between cricket and commerce. Otherwise even high calibre cricketers like Sehwag, Gambhir, Yuvraj, Zahir,Dhoni and even Tendulkar will fail the Nation in times of need and create a crisis like the one in the on-going tour.
He is right person to tell names of match fixures as his friend Kambli already told. So grill tendulkar to comeout the names of match fixures. Then only selctors managers etc will be on high alert.
A proper assessment will reveal the following limitations with the present team. 1) Very ordinary captaincy from Dhoni. 2) Inspite of being vice captain Sehwag playing loose strokes 3) Both Dravid and Tendulkar not converting the starts in to big innings 4) Bowlers failing to get break throughs after dismissing first six batsmen very cheaply 5) Definitely Praveen Kumar's absence is being felt as Ishant Sharma is not at his best. 6) No proper replacement yet for Ganguly an no 6 spot in batting 7) Dhoni's abject failure in batting. 8) Irfan Pathan should have been selected in preference to Mithun or Vinay Kumar. Irfan Pathan would have played better than Kohli and would have been an additional bowler.
There are a few things that are wrong with the Indian cricket team. Reluctance of Indian batsmen to go on to the front foot when the situation so demands is one of the many reasons that have set Indian team back in Australia. If batsmen do not come on to the front foot while playing deliveries, then even ordinary bowlers appear very lethal and deceptive. Unfortunately, VVS Laxman,Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir have some sort of a problem with their batting technique that lets India down on occasions when India wants them to perform. The key for Indian batsmen is to have very good footwork that will allow them to play front as well as back as per the needs of the situation.
I think that money and stardom are at the root of Indian cricketers usually failing abroad. Domestic grounds, crowds and sponsors help them win in India but bouncy foreign pitches, unpredictable swing and lack of resolution makes them prone to throw quick wickets as they have plenty at home to offer. Past performances are taken too further to force performance while the fact remains that a player in form at present is the most dangerous for the opponents. Alas! selectors do not understand it all or do not want to understand as it reduces their burden to nurture the fresh talent where they are supposed to take pains. V K Malhotra, Meerut
Dohni s luck was favouring all htese time nothing else. Further Tendulkar will be flooped this season and he has to hanf his boots. Otherwise he will loose all his credibility .Once he retires his name will be the list of match fixing.

If Tendulkar hang's his boots, maybe you are applying for the job of carrying his boots where ever he goes. You will be paid good salary.
dhoni is the main reason for downfall of indian cricket because he is interfering in selection process in connivance with selectors and opposing the entry of players like yuvraj singh who are the back bone of indian cricket
we will play with certain conditions.1. balling speed not more than 100. no spin no googli. 2 per palayer atleast two catches must be dropped. 3. after lunch no run out because with heavy stomach we cannot run fast. 4. if our hangover persists then they should have only 3 players on ground, 5. do not frighten us with very loud appeals. our legs shake. 6.when they are batting after 30 runs it will be our decision to allow that player to bat or not. 7. they should use table tennis racket for batting.8. umpires will be selected from amongst out member of the parliament.
