Yesterday when Gavaskar appeared in a TV channel and was opposing the rotation policy, I knew immediately that he was opposing that only for the sake of Tendulkar. Now the truth is out. These ex-cricketers from Mumbai are a selfish lot. For them Tendulkar's 100th century is more important than grooming youngsters for the future of Indian cricket. What a shame?

This Gavaskar and Shastri are the advertising boards of Sachin. Why they support sachin even if he fails, i do not understand. These ex-cricketers should be banned from interfering in the selection or suggesting team. These two guys have actually created division amongst the players in the team and also with the people of India. They always clearly support Sachin and other mumbai players, irrespective of their form. Just 4 innings failure, they targeted Dravid.

So you will have just youngsters play in the team and leave all the experienced players out? You think that's the way to groom youngsters? I don't think you've ever played a team sport or know anything about building a team. But its ok. You are one of those millions of fans who will get all hunky dory when he scores runs and India wins and writes comments like this one when he performs badly. Just for the record, why don't you count Sachin's avg after the world cup and compare it with all other batsmen in Indian team. You'll get an answer to why he is still playing.
He is occupying a position with utter selfishness. He must quit immediately with dignity. There were so many player in various field announced retirement at their pick time. And this man is the most selfish and depriving other player.

People like you shout the loudest when he scores runs but when he doesn't, everyone wants him out of the team. I think this behavior is selfish. Check your inner self first before criticizing.

sir-we all understand on a day schin will have to hang his boot. but he is not occupying the position as you think. He fully deserves to that. one question I want to ask..why schin or sometimes sehwag fall on the swords despite doing a reasonable score, why not this ..b..dhoni.. he has done nothing in his last over 100 innings. Why he is occupying his position as capt. Don't you think dhoni should do that wht you are expecting from schin.

you are right Sir Gavaskar. Sachin should play in all the ODIs and give him all the opportunities till he scores the 100. Sir but give chances for others to groom under him.
