After the series loss lots of analysis have been done,reams of prints have been printed, hrs and hrs of TV shows of experts comments have gone into.What is needed now is the step by step by implementation of all the corrective actions against the failures identified.The author is absolutely right that non-performers need to be thrown out irrespective of the reputation and young blood should be inducted.Coming to the bowling failure while there were already question marks over effectiveness of pace attack but a lot was expected of the spinners especially from R Ashwin who disappointed to say the least. But that doesn’t mean team management go back to Harbhajan who is certainly past his prime.What is needed is R Ashwin,P Ojha,Ravindra jadeja and other youngsters need to be put under tutelage of ex-spinners like Anil Kumble and other retired seniors and improve their effectiveness. Ashwin especially need to be taught the patience, perseverance of long spells of accurate bowling of the right line &length as Anil Kumble would do in his time.The other aspects of delivery stance and follow up, body thrust ,spin and speed etc. also need to be gone into to make him more effective the way G swann and Monty Panesar were seen to be. Unless Ashwin learns to bowl in good pitches and take wickets he might look more a batsman than a spinner. The last three test series have been a disaster for Team India since they have fallen from the pedestal.In England kevin pieterson n Matt Prior had been a thorn in India's flesh.Current series also Alistar Cook, Kevin, Matt again.India's famed batting have lost Rahul n Laxman.Laxman's premature retirement meant a huge gap.His batting prowess is such that even tailenders partnering him perform like batsman. The real hero for India's rise to the top are the coaching skills of the unsung hero Gary Kirsten who made everyone believe in themselves.South Africa having him are the example.Duncans's skills may be very effective with the England team but not vibing with the Indian test team.The services of the likes of Venkatesh Prasad could be considered for the bowling dept.The board should find out if Gilchrist,Warne,Ponting,McGrath are interested in Coaching assignments and upto them how to use them.It takes time n effort to get a winning combination.

Brits must thank aleem dar&dhramasena for the sries Win,Shame! Get some education,folks,Shame that indian media and some vested isi agents and interests are doing the sachin-bashing for helping some vested interests! Shame Indians are so good in pulling down their own heroes and legends and a player like Sachin comes only once in 500 years,perhaps???Get some reality checks,folks!Ponting is nobody compared to our legend Sachin for the simple reason that Sachin had to face the fiery bowling of aussies and other countries too and still score 100 centuries! while Ponting or Bradman had the privilege and good lcuk of NOT facing the fiery aussie pace attack and they had the added luxury of facing indian bowlers and score centuries as they want! Further all the umpires were very kind to all white skinned players and very cruel with Sachin and coloured players and so many times Sachin has been given out wrongly ba bad umpiring decisions too! Hope all world and cricket fans will realize now why Sachin is greater than Bradman and Ponting and Others!
Who will bell the cat? Certainly not the present bunch of selectors and most certainly Tendulkar will not go till 200 tests and till money pours for him. What is the option then? Tendulkar must feel ashamed and quit if he wants people to remember him for his contribution.
All these guys who are being criticized will perform excellent during the Pakistan tour... wait and watch. After that you all will say wah dhoni wah sachin

Yes you are right, i think we need only 16 businessman who play like cricketers, after all cricket is a business nowadays. no body wants to play cricket everyone wants money. tendulkar & dhoni are recent example. if non performance is not a criteria then we will see very soon ambani's & tata's in indian team. sachin should be ashamed for his greediness.
Some one had to sit out when Sachin made his debut.At 34 for him to make Rahane,Tiwary badri and the like wait is not fair. He will not hang the boot.The boot has to wear-out!ravi v r chennai
