Sachin only upto Aus series next year. Why he should play as long as he loves and enjoys the game of cricket.

Ajinkya Rahane Unmukt Chand Cheteshwar Pujara Virat Kohli/Dhawan Rohit Sharma/Manoj Tiwari MS Dhoni/Rayudu Ravi Chandran Ashwin Irfan Pathan/Vinaykumar Ishant Sharma/Dinda Umesh Yadav Varun Aron Pragyan Ojha
None in their right mind would like to continue with this overrated and overhyped captain anymore. He is just below ordinary player who was made big by the media because they wanted a small town achiever. But they do not understand that he won most of the matches not on his own ability of captaincy or batting, but because there were great stalwarts like Dravid, Laxman & Kumble and also younger inform players like SRT, Viru, Bhajji, Zaheer, etc.
If he quits , most problems wud solve itself..Its becos of his presence , we tend to focus more on individuals , than the nation.. we focus more on records , stats , than winning... Tendulkar is neither sooring , nor is he leader who inspires people around him.. he is one of the biggest losers, who always has fear, pressure written all over his face.. even at his peak , he never gave us the confidence that his presence wud win us the match..
You comment like a pro, but what is your capability ? If we go by your plans, we'll have a new team, and then there can be solid excuse. Common dude, use common sense. We just lost Ganguly, Laxman, and Dravid. It will take 2-3 series to settle there. And settling we are - in Kohli to start with. Rest will fall in place as well. You saw Pujara coming in. Yes,bowling needs some real change. We lack everything there. Sachin, he may not be at his prime right now, but he is still one of the very best. Will you stop writing articles just because you hit 40 years ??? So, take a hike and rewrite this article. Your article will have further sense.

We did lose Dravid, Laxman.. but never Ganguly.. Ganguly was an average test batsman and as a captain he was lucky to have a DRavid and Laxman at their peaks in his side..

Why the excuse for Sachine...one dont need physical strenght to write on their 40s...but time takes its toll...accept that and get out of the team..instead guide and train 10 other people...spend your efforts on developing young blood...it not necessary that you should stick to the team even in your 40s and show the world you are playing for the country...you can do it very well from outside
This shows our preparation for future - Dhoni as a Test batsman never had the technique to score big runs and lead by example. Maybe in India he could have scored a bit but when India looks to winning more series abroad, Dhoni does not have the technique. He could have been a wicket keeper who could have been shown the door when we found another good wicket keeper batsman.
He thrived the first few series because of old timers Sachin, Rahul, Laman, Sehwag, Harbajan, Zaheer.
He can lead the One day, T 20 teams but not Test. He was never qualified to do that from the beginning. That shows how BCCI thinks and what importance they give to winning Test matches.
We need a captain like Clarke who can lead the fight in Test cricket and who is dynamic, brave to fight it out. Going down without a fight is spineless show and if you see the Lankans, they went down fighting to Aussies in first test. That quality has to be imbibed into Indian cricketers, the sooner the better to sustain in long run.
We don't need players with statistical brilliance, all we need is fighters and winners as a team. Simply said don't need to persist with Harbajan but lets bring on the next Harbajan.
While BCCI is busy making money, the India Test cricket suffers.
sack the entire bowling line up Reason - Neither they are promising nor they have credentials of past performance. Good for nothing in short. Put up a roster with 5 pacers (likes of Umesh, Varun Aaron, Awana and similar) 5 spinners (Hard to find.. give opportunity to U-19 spinners.. atleast they will have some fire in their belly) Batting can too adopt similar approach.. try out Unmukt, Raina as opener (might work). Pujara at 3, Sachin at 4 for another year, Yuvraj/Kaif/Rahane, Dhoni (CAPTAIN/WK), Kohli/Sehwag and then bowlers what say guys

For Tests, Dhoni will be a misfit. They can bring back Dinesh Karthik as wicket keeper batsman. For openers itself several contenders are there: M Vijay, A Mukund, Unmukt, Shikhar Dhawan, Rahane. If they want to develop long term they should go for Rahane-Unmukt or Rahane-Mukund. Pujara, Sachin, Kohli, Sehwag, Karthik will be good line up. They have to use Umesh Yadav, Unadkat, Sandeep Sharma, Awana etc and bring Wasim Akram as coach.
