Remove IPL and see the performance of the team. IPL makes the players mindset different and cold wars between them. Also remove sachin and bring rahan or sharma. remove yuvraj and put raina or kaif. bring in yadav, aaron, dinda in place of zaheer. include harbhajan, we really must give a proper chance to him. Dhoni should quit t20 cricket including IPL and concentrate on tests and ODI's only. Make Ganguly or Dravid as a coach as young coaches understand the mindset of players and a Indian coach is good than a foreign coach. BCCI must open their eyes and think in a proper point of view.
i guess 3 different captains can be tried in the indian context.Virat kholi in T20 , Dhoni in One days , and Sehwag or ghambir in tests.. only thing is that captains should play in the formats only not in other, like virat only in t20 as long he is captain..so that young people also get chances parallelly
ya//dhoni is not the perfect captain in test formet..in my view dhoni should droop for teat side..he is not an test person yet..our selector should take a step like that..
Simple change captaincy Good idea but to whom. we have some names Sehwag, Gambir, Kohili and may Tendular also. Did any one except Kohili deserve the post if the criteria is performance. again Dohni also in same class. In simple presently Dhoni is leading a bunch of non performers. Some experts are stressing too much on experience. if they can guarantee that if India played the last 3 test with England by excluding Gambir,virander Tendularshewag,Saheer and with Rahanea,Murali vijay, Tiwary/Raina/Rohit sharam, Dida india's performance will be bad? if that also true what will be the net result instead of 1-2 it will be 0-3 or 0-0. what difference it going to make. So needs a change not only at the captain but in the root to branch.
we need king of war always ahead but not behand the solgders, it means at critical movement good captain support to rest of players with good bat , in our indian team captain not only support to others like R Ashiwin(if supported match being possibily drawn)but themselves loosing his wicket without secrificing to his team ,than how hey will win after death of king of war
1. Dhoni should be asked to leave TEST cricket. He doesnt seem to fit in this format, but has to play a major role in defending the 2015 world cup. 2. Include Saha in the team and groom him as a permanent Wicket Keeper. The captaincy should be passed on to Sehwag for the time being, before being handed over to Kohli. 3. Ashwin should be groomed as an allrounder on the lines of Kapil Dev and be asked to bat at No6 or No7 position. He is a guanrantee to score atleast 25-30 runs. 4. Kohli should focus more on Test cricket and ODI cricket than on T20 and waste his talent, for he is the future captain in the making. 5. Sachin should continue playing till Jan-14 and retire after the SA series. That will ensure 2 things - He gets to 200 tests, which he is silently targetting and the other point is, we have some experienced batsmen when we go and face No1 Test team in their own backyard, where India's track record is the worst of the lot. 6. Gambhir's attitude sucks. He has to change it or selectors need to drop him from test cricket. 7. Include one Under-19 batsmen in the squad at No6 postion and groom him 8. Include one under-19 bowler in the squad at No10 position and groom him. 9. Select some 20 players and have a rotation policy till we get the right combination. Persist with the nucleas (Sehwag, Sachin, Kohli, Aswhin, Ojha) 10. Finally, discourage them from playing IPL, if they had to prolong their test career. (English cricketers are the best example.Cook, Bell,Trott)

you know what common cricket fan's knowledge is....
The real problem is that the Ranji system is not throwing up players for higher rigours. Change the coach, change the captain, drop Sachin, do what you want. Nothing will bring the desired result till the system of playing Ranji on patta wickets is done away with. Jadeja is having three triple hundreds in Ranji. That is a pointer to the standard of Ranji double and triple hundreds.

why sachin ? why not dhoni? what is dhoni scores in last 3 test matches. He is in team because of captain unless he is out of team understand my dear.
