Ayaz Memon may never even seen Nawab Pataudi, and he is writing all sorts of nasty comments about him. He was from a very respectable muslim nawab family. The reporter is simply filling his column with idiot comments.

MAK Was a great player at that time. When indian cricket is no where near to white plyers cricket, he encouraged our players. He encouraged them to play attacking cricket instead of defensive one. He lead from the front and played attacking cricket, thats why he is called tiger pataudi.
He was first star player of indian cricket. He is the pillar of that time, because of which we can see now players like sachin, dhoni & azhar.

It was sad day for all cricket fans of India on account of sad demise of M.Alikhan Tiger Pataudi. He gave courage to hit the ball of shortpitch (Bouncer) as it is well known to Speed Star Grifith in West Indies. Undoubtedly he remember for longer period in Cricket history of India. At the same time he was royal boold in personal and well known as a celebraty killer of woman as he was such dresses in his body.
What was so great about Pataudi, that the media is lavishing so much praise on him. His battings stats are average, may be even pedestrian. Why was he given captaincy at the age of 21? Were there no senior players like Borde, Sardesai and several others? It is just that he had a royal background that he was given the captaincy which he held till 1971 with little distinction. It is just that the media loves to suck up to royalty.

there was no money in this game earlier. Pataudi due to royal background used to boost the players and used to host parties on performing well

Rajendra Sir, I agree. Also the so called royals were agreessive genes who liked to fight with weaker and other royals. They eliminated h!ndu royals - not that I give them value. Anyone brought up with rich and disciple lifestyle will become royal..so it is just luck. As H!ndu are not agressive so all non-agressive people wanted to see some agressiveness on cricket field. So mulsim one got that oppurtunity. On braveness scale no H!ndu is less. But we are not unnessarily agressive and dont try to be ladykiler. The Mulsim writers have a sick mind and they promote the culture of seduktn and multi-lady-keeprs.

If u havent got anything nice to say abt others, especially the dead, pls. refrain from saying anything.
It is sad. people start analyzing the great live lived only when it is gone. Our ego hurts when we talk of achievements of other person who is alive and in the state when he/she can share experiances and be a guide.
One Ad is coming on news channels of Patoudi's Son. In that Saif Ali Khan is shown as detective and says, "Who had murdered Nawab"??? Whether the Ad show is having any connection with Patoudi's demice??? Saif Ali would have not done such Ad. being a Son of auch great Nawab. I was a fan of Patodi.

You make a very bad fan, who can't even spell the name correctly.
As far as your comment about the "connection" of advt, lets just say its crass. Please don't abuse the word "Indian" by typing such stupid remarks. True Indians resent that.

Being an 'indian' and being a 'fan' doesn't give u liberty to hold straight ur dick and piss anywhere u like.
People have written aeons of praise about the departed soul.I have few things worth remembering about the great man: 1. 1969-70 series against Australia would surely have been drawn if India had not capitulated in the 4th innings of the Fifth and Final test at Madras . Set to score 220 odd runs India were bowled out for 170. Only Wadekar and Vishy scored fifties.Tiger persevered with Prasanna and almost won us the test. In fact in a match prior to this test, South Zone had defeated visiting Australians. 2. I was sitting in a bar in Geelong (Australia) which is near Melbourne in 1984. The topic drifted on to cricket after a couple of drinks with Aussies. These Aussies told me the best innings they had seen were the two knocks by Pataudi in the Melbourne test of 1967. It shows that cricket loving fraternity world over held him in such a high regard
