India is a country where Cricket is a Game looked up like a God..And God gets so much offering from its devotees and these Worthless money mongering Priests ( boards and Players)takes away all the money offered to GOD.. It's shame for both GOD and Devotees..to continue to give benefit to Priests....
WINNING AND LOSING IS A PART OF THE GAME. TEAM INDIA LOSING THE SERIES IN ENGLAND WAS JUST BECAUSE OF INJURIES TO KEY PLAYERS SEHWAG, GAMBHIR, ZAHEER. IF WE HAD SEHWAG AND ZAHEER THROUGHOUT THE SERIES IN ENGLAND THE RESULTS WOULD HAVE BEEN SURELY BETTER. ONE MUST NOT FORGET TEST MATCHES ARE WON ON GOOD STARTS. WE NEVER GOT GOOD STARTS. ONLY DRAVID COULD HANDLE THE STORM BUT TENDULKAR AND LAXMAN BOTH FAILED MISERABLY. WHEN WE ARE WINNING NOBODY THINKS OF REPLACING THESE PLAYERS. SACHIN AND LAXMAN HAS BEEN VERY CONSISTENT FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS OR SO. LETS FORGET THE PAST AND LOOK FORWARD TO NEW SERIES. I M PRETTY SURE TEAM INDIA WILL COME OUT WITH BLAZING GUNS THIS TIME.

NITIN RAJ:
a) Your Caps Lock key is faulty b) Losing is definitely part of the game. HOW you lose is the concern.... The last time we lost THIS way was in 1974.. c) I'm sure Team India can come out with Blazing Guns if the other teams start failing due to the "excuses" you just invented... Or do you seriously believe that Australia lost the World Cup 2011 becoz they didn't have McGrath, Warne, Gilchrist, Hayden, Gillespie, Healy, etc. etc.?

Hi Nitin,
I support your views to a large extent. How we lose is something we need to ponder. We can claim injuries and a lot of other excuses but the fact remains that our players went in without match practice and expected england to play into our hands. A lot of these injuries could have been avoided if the players had not spent so much time in the IPL. Sad but true. But I refuse to accept the statement that India will do well only if others fare badly. We have talented players who currently lack the determination and focus needed to stay at the top. Correct me if I am wrong.
dhoni achieved what millions of fans only wished secretly for years.. but never thought it would happen.. no 1 ranking, world cups.. and now people are ranting abt the way he achieved it..and as a fluke.. hello.. people.. stop being so cynical.. and blame bcci and their greed for this .. after winning world cup after 28 yrs.. there was no time to breathe or even savour the moment as mindless ipl began in 5 days..
justa few months ago...we were all marveling at the world cup final six and hailed him as the hero...now suddenly everyone ridiculing him...he has already done what no indian cricketer had ever done..that is captain a side tonumber one in tests and then lift the world cup...he has already achieved everything a cricketer can achieve...so relax and let him have rest....and enjoy his glory....infact i think the IPL immediately after world cup took out the charm of wining world cup and did not let everyone celebrate dhoni's triumph...bcci is to be blamed for all this debacle now...

World Cup win was not Dhoni's. It was India's. I think people carried away with team win and attributed it to Dhoni's captaincy. But the fact was we had a group of players (Zaheer, Viru, Yuvraj in ODIs, Laxman, Harbhajan, Gambhir, Sachin in last 2 years, except for Dravid who was patchy)were at the peak of their careers and played some great cricket to win game for India. To be honest any Captain would have won with such performances. Once most of these guys out due to injuries, Dhoni's captaincy is put to test and he failed miserably. No Doubt he has got captaincy skills but the reason why we raised to No.1 test status and won WC not becuase of Dhoni's captaincy it's because of players performances. For me he is not the best captain we ever had. He had a great support of BCCI Officials and it is getting over slowly but surely. All this drama of giving rest players on request of player was mis guiding the public. Prior to WC when Dhoni asked for rest against NZ odi series it gave him the rest and made gambhir captain and Indi won that series 5-0. And now against England, same request is made by Dhoni, no one is boyhered to listen to him. Under Dhoni we won WC after 28years with a ver good side. And had worstever test series after 1974 with not so good team. For both he cataincy was not responsible. His captaincy is as good as his team.

Well said Manjunath, Gambhir who played the best innings of his life in the world cup final is totally overshadowed by the false hero of India Mr.Dhoni. Dhoni's real value lies in the fact that he has a miserable batting & keeping. Once Sachin, Lakshman & Dravid retire from tests, Dhoni will have to pee in his pants. With such a good team as in world cup, it is nothing great that Dhoni did.
Continuous playing has taken it's toll on Dhoni's batting, wicketkeeping and cricketing brain. He must take complete rest (BED REST!) for 3 months. However, he is too scared to loose his wicket keeping position to Parthiv patel (in ODI) and to W. Saha (the best wicket keeper in the country today) in Tests.
Dhoni should continue to be the captain for the national team, not because he is a legend or a gem, but because there is no one else to replace him at the role. He is the best among the given lot.
Dhoni..has lived his life..as a captain..ad sponsor...rags to riches...he should now retire. He will only earn a bad name if he continues...and if he continues..he will struggle... opponents now know every move he makes...he has become predictable.

you want that he be dropped from csk team that too is not giong to happen...you want sehwag or gambhir to be india's captain...but i dont think your dream is going to be fulfilled any time soon...
also you wait...next year again csk will play well...and again you will be not able to do anything about it...

I like Dhoni and want him out of the team for a break until he is 100% fit.If he gets a critical injury BCCI will just dump him and get someone else to do his task.He is not a tissue paper.I dont want that to happen.I dont care who the captain will be for that brief period.Even if Sreeshanth is made captain i dont care. But you owe us an apology for speaking ill on CSK.Traitors like you should not be left free.First apologize and then continue speaking.

This is why you northies are hated in our state because of cowardice.Maybe you dont understand English.I swear I will be the happiest if my team wins because of Dhoni and not as you crudely put it.But i will not spare you for speaking ill against my team. Please apologize first.

look dude rajiv, i understand that you want gambhir to be captain of the indian team...
but why are you trying to dream impossible dreams?
dhoni is there as a captain and doing a very fine job...so nobody is going to be captain in the near future unless of course dhoni opts to take rest...
and again how much you burn csk is going to do well again next year...
