BCCI itself a club. They BCCI members are corrupt and living with different life style. Actually we don't have national cricket team like hockey or any other sports in India.
We should just have ICC tournaments and leagues like the IPL. Nobody enjoys one-sided contests between the West Indies and India. The winner is a foregone conclusion. IPL matches are much more competitive. Cricket needs to modify itself to a FIFA football like structure. Otherwise, people will start losing interest.

Absolutely correct. Only multi-team tournaments should be played rather than boring 5 match lopsided series, which nobody will remember even 1 year from now.
At present India having many talented players. So if one more cricketer has to be aside coz of injury, is not a big deal.
So who will be captain for WI tour?
Kohli can be a good option. He was captain of U-19 India-team which one world-cup. Kohli is in-form batsman, doing good fielding. If he becomes captain, he has nothing to loose. But in addition this tour will give him good experience.
As we know Dhoni will be there in team at least a few more yrs, it will be good to plan for next captain. This methodology has been successfully applied at Aussie team. When there was Mark Taylor, everyone knew who will be the next captain - Steve Waugh - then Ricky and now Clarke.

i laugh at your comments when u say about the strategy of australian team. they have made a mockery of themselves with captain who is not willing to leave and a deputy who does not want him in team at all. the place of their captain is not even safe in the team. Just to look good, they forced some of their best players to retire prematurely so that place of captain is not in question. a comedy of error is the country called australia

Kohli will abuse everyone. He looses his temper if he mishits a ball or if a batsman hits him for a six or if someone misfilelds...He will the next Afrid if he becomes a captain..sorry no Kohli

Who the hell is Kotian to tell Ghambir what he should do. Let the players have their own option. Anyways players such as Sachin, Dhoni and couple others have been rested. Shouldnt Gautam also be rested as he has been playing tirelessly over the last few months. Come on People, they have won you the world cup!! What else do you want from them?

Who is playing for the country ? They are playing for the team of BCCI. Don't you all know that in a court matter BCCI had submitted affidavit saying its a private company and that players play for its team.
Do not waste time of others. There are thousand plus cricket players readily waiting who are better than Gambhir, it is good that he is injured. I wish if all 11 current players fall sick, therefore we can test the rest and produce more players.
selector makes money from new players by resting seniors each time or giving reason of fake injury..so that seniors can also plays IPL and selectors also gets benefit...sreenivasan and cheeka politics..
