Why people are very crazy towards Sachin?

When others players perform well, then Sachin makes 100 - there is no such use at alls.

Everyday is not sunday... Luck is not always there for you ... Hope Dhoni understands .... he has been on the top of the world with no effort of his and some luck favouring him... when he had to put in his brains we see the shortcommings... Let us not blame Sachin and say he plays for records... everyone does something for himself during the course of life, YOU DO IT TOO....take this as a learning stop depending on your instincts... put in real brain in your work .... then you get the final outcome ......

@Zeng Dada: Ur idiocy could not have had a better time to be displayed.Remember the match against Pak in Chennai? No one played except Sachin. Result: India lost by 15~20 runs. Same case against Australia, he single handedly hit 175. The rest 10 members couldnt hit 175 runs all together! Leave this NDTV behaviour and use brains

India must stop Depending upon
by RSS on Jul 26, 2011 11:06 AM  | Hide replies

Players like Zaheer, Sachin, Gambhir & Harbhajan, who are good to play in Indian conditions only. Abroad they are not expected to win matches consistently - especially after a draining IPL.

India's defeat
by Ashwani sharma on Jul 26, 2011 11:02 AM  | Hide replies

WHY INDIA LOST, THE QUESTION IS THIS,FIRST ZAHEER'S INJURY- IF ZAHEER WAS NOT FIT ENOUGH WHY WAS HE PICKED UP FOR THE TOUR AND MATCH,ALTHOUGH HE HAS PLAYED ALL THE MATCHES AT IPL AND HAS TAKEN SUFFICIENT REST.2 HARBHAJAN SINGH, HE HAS BECOME THE LIABILITY OF THE TEAM,SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIM AND SWAN'S OFF SPIN.HE IS TAKING THE WICKETS IN TITS AND BITS HE HAS NOT TAKEN 5 WICKET HAUL FOR LONG, HE SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY REPLACED WITH ASHWIN OR AMIT MISHRA.3. LACK OF APPLICATION ON PART OF BATSMENS LACK OF APPLICATION BY TENDULKAR IN BOTH ININGS, DHIONI IN BOTH ININGS GAUTAM GAMBHIR IN BOTH ININGS,AND ABOVE ALL WHAT WAS THE USE OF RAINA'S 70-75 ODD RUNS IN SECOND ININGS,HE WAS THERE IN THE TEAM MERELY ON DHONI'S FRIENDSHIP WITH HIM. IF YUVRAJ WAS THERE THE SCENE SHOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT, CHRIS BROADS IMPRESSIVE BOWLING IN BOTH ININGS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MARRED WITH THE MERE PRESENCE OF YUVRAJ SINGH AND THE RESULT HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT.POOR FIELDING BY DHONI AND DRAVID GIVE PIETERSON HIS BEST SCORE IN TEST CRICKET AND THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE ON OVERALL PERFORMANCE OF THE TEAM ------ POOR THINKING ON PART OF DHONI AND HIS LACKLUSTURE CAPTAINCY.

Broad was a kid when he was hit for six sixes by Yuvraj, now he is the mainstay of their team, now he can hit six sixes against yuvi...remember his 74 along with Prior who took the match away from us. Chris Broad has now stopped playing and its his son Stuart in the English team.

What the hell?
by Rozario on Jul 26, 2011 10:54 AM  | Hide replies

What Zaheer's injury has got to do with the batting failures in both the innings.Could not score even 300 runs. Dhoni is the second lowest scorer among the regular batsmen. He has always won matches at the performance of others. A team effort. He has never made India win single handedly in test cricket.

It was not a 300 runs wicktet at all. If zaheer was there england wud have made much less then 474 & 270 runs. So the lead they had taken wud have been very less and a different result would have happened. Hence the absence of zaheer .

@Rozario: If Zak bowled in 2nd innings, Eng could be bowled for less than 200. India could have had a better chance to win. But as u say, batting failure in both innings hit us hard.

Dhoni is highly overated. He makes 250-300 crores in endorsemnts and we stupid Indians go ga ga over these cricketers. The poor jawan who gets killed in Kashmir is paid around Rs 5 lakhs.
The BCCI is a bunch of jokers. High time these guys were paid as per their performance.

Complacency cost them the match
by da dude on Jul 26, 2011 10:52 AM  | Hide replies

If you look at the body language of the players, you would notice they lack the winning attitude. Clearly there was lack of motivation and the team management has to be blamed. Personally I am not OK with Duncan Fletcher as Indian coach. He is a foreigner and can not bond well with Indian players. Gary kirsten is a different story, but all other foreign coach have proved disaster for India. Loosing to England is truly humiliating , because of our history...

how can u expect motivation when these guys r showered with crores for every ad and every game in IPL???
There bank balances must be running into thousands of crores by now and hence there is no point in blaming them. Nobody would have any motivation as money is coming too easily...
Blame the IPL and the ads that these guys r allowed to do....

Why worry about a lost match ????
by Cool Mahesh on Jul 26, 2011 10:51 AM  | Hide replies

We should be more interested in:
1) Sachin's hundredth ton.
2) Bhajji's hundredth test.
3) Whether Sachin will get Bharat Ratna ?
4) How many of our flat track bullies are there in fabricated ICC All Time Test XI and ODI XI ?
5) How many haircuts and bike rides does our Captain Cool take ?
6) In endorsement conracts, who is leading - Sachin or Dhoni ?, irrespective of their performance on the field.
7) Which Don is praising the Little Master or which President is praising Dhoni's haircut ?
These above are more important to us. India will anyway win or lose depending on how good the opposition are.

English team was better
by pawan dhingra on Jul 26, 2011 10:50 AM  | Hide replies

I have no qualms in admitting that England was a better team in this test. They played as a cohesive unit and the body language bordered on supreme confidence, whereas India were a pale shadow of themselves. I have no doubt that Zaheer was carrying the injury into this test and has let Indian team and fans down.
Do not criticize your heroes who have time and again proven their worth. One bad test match does not make them failures overnight. Have trust this team shall bounce back
