Kallis is the best cricketer: His average is on par with Tendulkar. Tendulkar is ahead only because he has more tests/innings.
Kallis has nearly 12,000 runs, 40 centuries. Add to that 269 test wickets and 169 catches. There is no doubt, he is the best cricketer, ahead of Tendulkar. It is hard to accept it, but that is the truth!

yes solomon definately kallis is ranked and should be given as cricker year award and he wl definately bypass the record of tendulkar in no matter of time, his stand is more important to the team that is it , hats off to kaliis for his great effort

You know why? Because Sachin is the bench mark, Sachin is the standard and Sachin is the best and greatest ever.
These Bradmans, Laras, Pontings, Kallis' can be born again. But Sachin is born once in a life time and we are proud to have born in Sachin's era and have witnessed the master playing.
Sachin hardly has one or two years left in him and we should enjoy every moment of Sachin playing.
And what can I say about some idiots, they are miserable in their personal lives and are a burden to their families. Seriously.

As long as you keep Dravid as No.3 in spite of his poor run you will never get a better No.3. And Bhajji's 7 wickets. He got them because others did not bowl well. What is the use of his bowling analyses when South African tail enders made mockery of his bowling yesterday to take SA to safety.

Well said Deepak, can understand blind Sachin supporters will find it hard to digest, but it is the truth. The important thing is Kallis is on 40 centuries off 147 Tests while Sachin is on 51 off 177 Tests & is 2 1/2 yrs younger as well, he will eclipse Sachin's record by the end of his career & will have atleast 300 Test wickets & will come close to Sachin's overall runs scored, he will go down as an all-time great ahead of Sachin just below Don Bradman.

kallis never scored runs against australia in australia..... he never scored against srilanka in srilanks... more than 50% of his century's have been made in southafrica.... he is nothing in one day cricket with a rediculus strike rate... dont even compare him with a genius who started facing top class fast bowling at the tender age of 16...

Mr.Deepak,here r some eye opener for u...Sachin never got a chance to face bowlers from india..dont u think if he wud have got much more runs and centuries if he face ordinary indian bolwers? do u think any cricketer in the world carries the same amount of expectation as sachin carries from all of india..do u think sachin got a strong and reliable batting unit for a support?most of the time india's hopes die with his departure...it ws the case in 92, 2003 and even now ...

dear mr deepak, not only kallis but there are some more batsman who have a very good average of above 50.00. But what would you like to say when no.1 batsman sir don bradman had already ranked SACHIN the greatest batsman of the modern age. Australians are the best cricketers in the world & alomost all of them have admired his batting style. how many crickets you know who continued to played even after heard the news of death of their father. Sachin did it in the 1999 world cup & was the top scorer in that tournament. This no doubt kallis a very good batsman but he could not score well against australia while sachin's best innings are against Australia. moreover what would u like to say a person who has been a great batsman for the last 21 years. this shows his mental toughness & dedications for the country the game of cricket. so Sachin is the greatest.
