Kallis posses great poise of tactical,outthinker,defence and aggression. He hardly gets out and if at all he gets out, he gets out after a hundred. Unlike Tendya,He never gets frequent LBW or Cleanbowled, caught behind

Is there any doubt? We should not even be saying it. It is now a fact especially after Sachin struggled on a Day3 flat pitch but Kallis was fluent on Day 1 swinging conditions and Day4, minefield conditions. Kallis is class. Sachin is bacha. Kallis is his father.

Hmmm....there is one factor which u conveniently failed to account for....tendulkar had to play against steyn and morkel whereas kallis played the likes of sree, and zak.....

There is another factor. Kallis has played most of his tests where 250-300 is consider a par score per innings and centuries are rare. Sachin has played on flat pitches where 500 is considered par score and 3-4 batsmen get a century every innings. That should settle it. Kallis has played on bowler friendly conditions where even a Zaheer can be as lethal as Steyn.

He played so slowly when conditions were perfect for batting. If he had played properly and made use of the dead track we could have made 500 and by now game would be over. Sachin is the cause why we are not winning against Australia in Sydney also. He played so poorly from the team's perspective but still boosted his average with 241 not out. Same in Centurion when he played with tail.

India 28/2in the 1st innings nd this kid wanted SRt to play fast so tht India cud hv taken a followon nd lost on the 3rd day itself...comeon kid grow uponce again...start playing gully cricket atleast...make atleast 10 runs there nd then speak @ the legend...only legend tht India has produced

Perfectly said. This is what I am saying too. Kallis is humble and does not evade taxes and advertise for Pepsi to get attention. After yesterday's knock by Kallis, I am left with no doubt that he is at least 2 levels better than Sachin. Sachin at best can be compared to Chanderpaul or Samaraweera.

Remember Kallis is averaging over 50 by playing most of his career on 250 runs pitches. Sachin is playing on pitches were even 500 in a small score and Sehwag scores 300 routintely. LOL.

Having said thus about Tendya, in few cases, I pity his bad luck of no support from Indian bowlers or other batsman including tailenders most of the times. But, in some cases, he was the culprit.

Also, check Kallis ODI records with Sachin's. No comparison, Sachin well ahead of Kallis, in terms of number of runs, number of centuries, strike rate, lone double ton, man of the matches etc.
People compare Bradman to Sachin, Lara to Sachin, Ponting to Sachin and now all of a sudden Kallis to Sachin. You know why? Sachin is the benchmark, Sachin is the standard.

tendulkar great only if he wins off this match for india in tough conditions . If he pulls this off for india he is all time great in my books. I reckon dhoni, gambhir should open and pujara should come at no3 , sachin , laxman , dravid , sehwag, laxman , ishant, sreesanth, zaheer. Sehwag should play without thinking abt his game and play for country

Even if sachin winning this game, 3 mnths later u will come back kuldeep for another game saying the same thing. Then u will again say, 'sachin great in my books if only he wins this game'. Thats the problem with u short term memory ppl. How many games has sehwag won or dravid?

it is correct that you know very little about cricket and that is why such nonsense comments are coming from you.Do youknow how many times Tendulkar has been given out when he was clearly not out and on some occasion when he was above 90.his greatness has been admired by the whole world which includes Sir Don and Sirv Vivian Richard. Why shud only SRT win this game for India...he has done many many times...what wll the other 10 do...just scratch their....he has already taken India out of deep trouble in the 1st innings itself
