Fools watch Cricket
by hariharan iyer on Dec 29, 2011 08:15 PM

WE, Indians have an habbit of pampering these Big 3 (earlier it was 4 with Ganguly). We have been always pampering right from the Gavaskar days. When a new comer does not perform, he is fired right away. these big three fail time and again. Ocassionally, they score a big 100 in a drawn test and are retained for the next 10 test matches. It is all MONEY. Indians are fools to watch these guys play. They have been taken for a ride by these cricketers, politicians, etc., STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE LOST MATCHES BY INDIANS. STOP WATCHING THE CRICKET. YOU DON;T MAKE ANY MONEY BY WATCHING OTHERS PLAY. Any takers ????

Not quite!

They are the best batting line-up in the world only when they play at home, but they are not the best when they play in Australia, SA, and England. When the ball bounces, seams, and cuts, our batsmen are all at sea, including Tendulkar. Tendulkar's 1st innings record in Aus is Bradmanesque, but his 2nd innings record in Aus is pathetic. It really means he doesn't play when India desperately requires him to play for a draw or a win.

Correct! I agree with you. Tendulkar's performance in the Second Innings has left lot to be desired.

I mean why r u guys so frustrated !!! Deep down we all know we are not world beaters and never were. To become world beaters we must have Pool of batsman who can consistently play for winning cause. Having gigantic individual milestones doesn't mean anything. A pool of bowlers with raw pace spin ability that can sustain / groomed over a period of time into potent attack which can take 20 wickest or strive for it. Not by chance or surface is supporting. I am not disheartened by 1 match loss however when we win the world cup I had my share of thoughts/observations. We are so deeply emotional about cricket(we must be too as it gets so much coverage) that a single world against team and their quality will qualified one as traitor. At best we will draw series eventhoug i still hope our team can prove me wrong.

4-0
by Sameer Gore on Dec 29, 2011 08:05 PM

Get ready for 4-0. In my opinion ( i may be wrong ) Performing in IPL is more important and prestigious for our Young Guns. Nobody has the technique nor guts to play test cricket and they dont care. Do well in IPL T 20s ( Gilly danda cricket ) and riches will follow.

Guys, enough of talking about Sachin Dravid and Laxman. If India is rated strong test team, its because of these three guys. If these guys cant perform, its way too tough for other guys to perform.

Dhoni highest score is 38 in Australia with 10 innings. First they should throw him out..
