I have been following Test Match Cricket for over 40 years now. In this period, I can recall only three occasions, where the better team has lost a series. This is going to be fourth such occasion. On previous three occasions too, India had been on the receiving end. First such incident took place in 1977-78, when india's vastly experienced side led by Bedi lost to a third string Australian team led by Bob Simpson in 1977-78. In the second case, India led by Kapil Dev were beaten by Imran Khan's inexperienced side in a home series in 1987. Then India led by Gavaskar were beaten by Mike Gatting's side in 1984, again at home. India have been so consistent! Only India are capable of such feats.

You cry against useless flat track etc and number 1 name is MCG test double centurion, India match winning hero Sehwag. ROFLMAO!!!
We should not be ashemed of losing. Even if we lose this series too 0-4, how is it going to matter? We are still going to watch our Classy Heroes. If Sachin manages to score his 100th international Hundred, it will more than amply compensate for the drubbing. Then there is another season of IPL coming up. Cheer up boys! (And Girls too!) Thinking about National Pride is so communal. We are secular, and therefore cannot be overtaken by Nationalism.
1. India losing the sereis 4-0. 2. Sachin and VVS announcing retirement. 3. Gautam to concentrate on one dayers. 4. Yuvraj and Rohit to be drafted in the batting line up. 5. pressure on Dhoni to improve or go.

All the things you said may come true except Sachin calling it a day unless kicked out.
Including the last 4 matches and 1 of this series, In total of all 10 Innings Indian site never scored 300 marks...what a shame on the team known for its Batting? How can you expect to Win in test matches where u are unable to score 300 in an innings..?
