Dismissal show by Team India
by Rajesh Bhatnagar on Aug 24, 2011 11:53 AM  | Hide replies

I simply do not take the result 4-0 on face value and there could be very big reason behind this.We have seen that this team was playing fantastic cricket during last few years
and were capable of playing in english conditions, but some ware something is unclear
This is not the case that this team all of sudden forget to play seaming and bouncy pitches and that too in 4 test in row, i don't think so.
I actual reason is better known to BCCI and Team India. This is certainly not the case of one lost series(4-0) and could not put fight in single test.

I think you are too much shocked.
Understand the fallowing points.

1. In West indies also our batsmen were flop other than Dravid and Laxman. But still manged because their batting line up also was very poor.
2. In England bad luck is failure of Sachin and more over Laxman. Ofcorse Laxman never batted well in England. But Sachin failed due to over cricket and lack of focus.
3. Other batsmen/bowlers were terrible. Pertcularly Ishant and Harbhajan. Harbhajan was thrown out.
4. Coach has no clue on Indian team because first time in England only he could able to see all the players intact.
5. No practice, no preparation for such an important series. In one sentance, Indian team underestimated Engalnd team and overestimated themselves.

Analysis

Captain : Still in air with world cup in hand
Sr.Batsmen : Scapre goats of IPL and toomuch cricket added by bad luck
Jr.Batsmen : No clue on the pitch or bowling. Not tallented to bat on genuine pitches. Better to ristrict themselves to IPL matches and few matches in subcontinent.
Fast/medium pace bowlers : Jokers. All to be replaced.
Spinners : Most unfortunately no substitute for Kumble. Board has to search for a good leg spinner on emergency basis.
Coach : Clueless about the team as after wc first time he is interacting with full team in this series.
BCCI : Doesn't care. Preparing for next IPL.

Fast / medium bowlers - to be replaced ? By who ? Its easy to get carried away , but look at the options first . You cant pick a team full of newcomers and expect them to win . You need a mix of youth and experience . Except Mithun , who wasnt bad in the two series he played but was subsequently in poor form , the other young seamers we tried out , Umesh Yadav , Unadkat and Dinda looked out of their depth . They can improve and need to be groomed for the job . you cant send them for a tough overseas tour without experienced bowlers for support .

World cup winning team lost test series against England..... 2 of them is Innings defeat. Now I hv a doubt whether d world cup what we hv won is really a hard work (which I doubt) or paying something to other teams. shall we hv CBI enquiry ?

Indian team never deserve No.1 spot, they were No.1 by chance not by merit. They wins their most of matches in Indian wickets.

Nevertheless they were No.1 but hindi saying suits on Indian Team "allah Meherbaan to Gadha bhi Pahelwaan"

Our Team got their share
by Kamesh Krishnamoorthy on Aug 24, 2011 11:40 AM

Whether win or lose, our team has got its share of money. We are fools watching d match and encouraging them. WE should never buy any products advertised by them. Our team needs total revamp. We hv to sack / dissolve BCCI and we ourselves should tk over and select d new team and train them.

he was a ticket collector in the railways; he should not surrender that job and promptly go back to it and leave the present job to some competent person; dhoni is a greedy and useless person

You are correct. According to me, this Indian team has faced a humiliating series defeat because their captain is finished. He can neither keep wickets, nor bat , nor bowl. He failed to motivate his team. Let us sack him like Ganguly and give him a chance to come back by performing. Else, let him perish.

dhoni is alone not at fault he failed for the first time that also miserably 0-4 so i compare this dhoni's attitude with bedi who was result oriented captain so we like this attitude always be result oriented positive before england tour negative in england till date so negative multiplied by negative will make positive as per mathematics so find out negative points in our performances find out negative points in england team multiply them to get some positive results at least for remaining contests i hope our VVS Laxman is an engineer and has some brain that is why VVS L passed engineering not duffer like sachin that fellow was given books by his professor dad to pass in exam BCOM but could not copy and pass also such duffer in academics is sachin record tendulkar

We do not u'stand why the media and others are so much worried about Indian team who has lost the entire series in England. Even if we win what we are going to get it from the win. Players are paid handsome money. Whether they loose and win they get their money. Already all the players become crorepati.

Support people like Anna Hazare, if he wins, we will win and it will help us.
