I had predicted

I had predicted after the 2nd test that it will be a clean white wash for the indian team. It happened.

What performance you can expect from a team which plays 283 days cricket in a year.

To bring back the lost vigor in the indian team, the entire team should be rested for a period of three months.

Ridiculous Performances
by PANKAJ MEHTA on Aug 24, 2011 01:52 PM

The IPL seems to have diverted the team's interest in international cricket. Besides IPL the endorsements and glamour has become more dearer to Indian players. Making crores with just one endorsement have made them loose interest in international cricket. Each player just seem to be modeling on the cricket pitch then playing cricket....shame

Matter of time.
by anil Richhariya on Aug 24, 2011 01:41 PM

Some 3 months all including media were singing songs for world champs and now. Just a matter of time, we could not digest an unexpected victory. Aurtialia remained on top position and went on to win consecutive world cups but never lost professionalism.
It's not only matter of defeat but the way our top 11 cricketors surrendored before english team but shameful. Their tailender went on to make scores and our top order batsmen looked helpless thouthout the series. This where we miss Kumble, an expert in clearing tails. India need more Kumbles.

BCCI to answer
by ACHINTA ROY on Aug 24, 2011 12:05 PM  | Hide replies

The non-technical power and money hungry stalwarts of BCCI ought to answer before the nation, why our national team has faced such a humiliating defeat? Let them be sacked by the government. How did they appoint this failed cricketer as a coach ? They must explain.

Simply talking about your feelings can be helpful, however depressed you are. Sometimes it is hard to express your real feelings even to close friends. Talking things through with a trained counsellor or therapist can be easier. It can be a relief to get things off your chest, and it can help you to be clearer about how you feel about your life and other people. There may be a counsellor at your GP surgery with whom you can talk, or your GP can refer you to a local counselling service.
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)How can I help someone who is depressed?

Listen. This can be harder than it sounds. You may have to hear the same thing over and over again. It's usually best not to offer advice unless it's asked for, even if the answer seems perfectly clear to you. If depression has been brought on by a particular problem, you may be able to help find a solution or at least a way of tackling the difficulty.
It's helpful just to spend time with someone who is depressed. You can encourage them, help them to talk, and help them to keep going with some of the things they normally do.
Someone who is depressed will find it hard to believe that they can ever get better. You can reassure them that they will get better, but you may have to repeat this over and over again.
Make sure that they are buying enough food and eating enough.
Help them to stay away from alcohol.
If they are getting worse and start to talk of not wanting to live or even hinting at harming themselve

Counciling is necessary for all team members as we may fail again
by pravin sarode on Aug 24, 2011 11:59 AM

Most people with depression will not have all the symptoms listed below, but most will have at least five or six.

You:
feel unhappy most of the time (but may feel a little better in the evenings)
lose interest in life and can't enjoy anything
find it harder to make decisions
can't cope with things that you used to
feel utterly tired
feel restless and agitated
lose appetite and weight (some people find they do the reverse and put on weight)
take 1-2 hours to get off to sleep, and then wake up earlier than usual
lose interest in sex
lose your self-confidence
feel useless, inadequate and hopeless
avoid other people
feel irritable
feel worse at a particular time each day, usually in the morning
think of suicide.

You may not realise how depressed you are for a while, especially if it has come on gradually. You try to struggle on and may even start to blame yourself for being lazy or lacking willpower. It sometimes takes a friend or a partner to persuade you that there really is a problem which can be helped.About one in 10 people who suffer from serious depression will also have periods when they are too happy and overactive. This used to be called manic depression, but is now often called Bipolar Disorder. It affects the same number of men and women and tends to run in families Simply talking about your feelings can be helpful, however depressed you are. Sometimes it is hard to express your real feelings even to close friends. Talking things through with a

Dhoni needs to improve his keeping & batting to sace captains
by pradeep agarwal on Aug 24, 2011 11:58 AM

The horrible keeping all through & reckless batting even when team was in dire trouble convey the state of his once coll mind.He looks lost just after being brought to harsh realities of international cricket after playing mostly in domestic conditions. One can count the number of balls that landed in his gloves which gives no confidence to bowlers & his lack of technique against swing & spin were majorly responsible for our debacle.Conceding over 400 runs twice in a day also make you believe that he is no longer cool but captain fool.
