Sachin in this England series never was comfortable against the pace of English bowlers. He was playing as if he had never faced fast bowlers. Why Dravid could tackle them because he applied himself and countered the attack successfully. I can understand failure in one match but not all of them. He played an indiscreet shot(in the first innings of the fourth test) when his presence in the field was required. Even Ishant Sharma's bowling looked mediocre. It did not have the sting. Also in the third test Sachin played a shot (when he was caught in the slip for one)as if he was giving catch practice. After Gambhir suffered injury and Zaheer suffered hamstring we did not have a good bowler and a batsman to score runs or bowl England out. Ravindran
We should have courage to retire old batsman. First name will be of SRT as he has not contributed with bat in this series. Clearly age is taking over his abilities. Need to take some bold decision here. If we are not touching this subject means we are not doing any brainstorming here. Sachin now no more useful to Indian cricket team and must be sent home permanently.
We really got to break 'Friends Forever' culture in the Indian cricket.
Bhajan and Yuvi keep singing Sachin and Dhoni bhajans and they are secured in the team. RP, the most average bowler and even his recent IPL performce confirms that, called in the team while he was on vacation in Miami. WHY? because he is a very good friend of Dhoni.
Don't we have any other fast bowler in India, who is currently better then RP? Ohh yes, we do have many but they're not preffered by Captain..
India has been put in its place. S tandoor must be celebrating. A Nation is known by the sportsmanship it has....an old saying. Just look at China and Japan. We all started 65 years or so together. What is so special about India???? Boasting about its culture!!!!! Let us keep it up. Long live the Manusamriti.....
I have seen the team's performance and on the face of it, the same has been an abysmal failure. However, I have noticed their reactions have been slow and it leads me to doubt whether they were subjected to some medication to slow down their reflexes. I also have my doubts at the balls that were given to the Indians to bowl which behaved more like tennis ball cricket. Maybe this should be looked into a little more carefully.

Yes most of them were subjected to special medication. That's call the most confy lifestyle-nice AC house, butter chicken, Idli, Dosa, Tandoori and ice cold beverages and zillions of rupees..
It gets very difficult then to be out working hard for five days in the field..
were ind no.1? v cudnt beat 10th ranked wi while chasing just 180 runs! whenever v won even a single test match then subsequently v tried to draw remainder matches in the series. that showed v did nt hv killer instinct that ausis had once upon a time. v were content with just single victory to boast abt series victory against the opponents.
our players were busy spending the money they earned during ipl. they were busy nursing injuries incurred during ipl /hidden during ipl. had no motivation to play for country vis a vis playing in club (level) ckt. they had become arrogant that v r superheros n cant b defeated by any1. they became complacent abt victories.
dont think like fairy tale, india did not train or utilize what we have today. Botham says England will win 1 dayers too, how?
Did we consider ROhit, Pragyan for test ? Kept on dragging Raina to spoil his 1 dayer game.
As long india is weak footed and weak time for rising and swinging balls outside off stumps with odd one coming inside, india will be stubbed again. Similar issues with Swann that is more like a medium pace spin.
India has not prepared against some methodological training and planning by angrez...
