senior indian players are scared to give chance to youngsters thinkin that if they perform well they will loose place in team so they are playing with injury
From Dhoni's words it seems he had differences with the selectors in including senior members in the side (exception Dravid)..and so he himself might not have enjoyed the series.. lets forget this as a nightmare ! Dhoni shouldnt be removed...it would be a foolish decision..

Dhoni is not at all a good batsman like Yuvi, Shewag or Gambhir. His wicket keeping is far from standard level. He tried with his bowling - all for staying in the team. Of course, he is cool and does not talk much because of his incapability (he's also undergraduate). He must leave.

sivanand chaturvedi, sachin talks a lot of nonsense and more nonsense whenever he is a captain because of his incapability (he's also undergraduate). He must leave.
BCCI is responsible for not managing properly the schedules and teams for IPL 2011 and offical Tests with England.
Selection committee is responsible for showing positive and negative favours to certan players in the selection process and for not taking care to exclude injured players.
Captain can be saved from the axe, since alternate options are not prepared by BCCI.
I think it all boils down to the touring strategy. We have not understood a few main aspects from past performances. To help improve we should put in place a strategy that includes....
1) Not tour SA, NZ, Eng and Aus because they prepare bouncy tracks as well and our weakness is exposed already.
2) Not tour Sri lanka as they prepare spinning tracks that does not suit Indian spinners.
3) No one recommends touring Pak due to political climate.
4) We just finished the WI series. Since they will gain strength with the newer talent find and the pitches are known to be true, avoid touring WI for the benefit of Indian cricket
5) SO that leaves Zim, Bangladesh and of course Netherlands!
6) An alternative is true to Indian tradition we can invite every team to India so our players can be comfortable playing their natural game!

do you believe all the indian pitches are flat..? Even Indian pitches can be bouncy and spinning. We lost England due to bad planning and probably IPL. NOTHING else. Our players are talented but wrong selection criteria did us the damage. Injured players like zaheer, uv, sehwag were selected butn fit players like rohit sharma, tiwari, tyagi, ohja, vinaykumar were left out..but we shall recover in time..to play champions leage..
Munaf patel, a natural athlete who runs in fast and bowls at 90-95MPH. RP singh who swings @ 100 MPH, Harbhajan singh who flights and tweaks the ball squarely. Sreesanth's control/accuracy with the ball and his body language. Mithun/vinay whose speed makes wicket keepers to stand outside 30 yard circle. Amit Mishra who gives nightmares for Left handed batsmen with his googlies/flippers. With these stalwarts our bowling is in safe hands. It is just a bad series, we will be #1 again!!!

JUST one BAD series is not the end of the world. remember other teams also played and lost like this...this is due to clumsy planning and so many games esp. t20 and ipl. but we shall recover..in time for champions league

And Tendulkar to deliver in the time of crisis. Of course we will be no.1 again
We are concerned because Sachin did not get his 100th international 100 in the four Test Matches. We hope he will get it in one of the 5 ODIs or in the T-20 match, and we shall be rejoicing again! Let us give Bharat Ratna to Sachin even if he does not get it in the six opportunities available in England.

What about Robin Uthappa. He certainly is much better than some of the other youngsters. Unfortunately some Krish Srikkant is biased against him.
