Forgotten
by max skinner on Aug 14, 2011 12:33 PM

This will be forgotten soon once play starts on Indian pitches which are flat and of no use to pacers.

Here everyone of the so called young brigade will score tons of runs and will be praised like no tomorrow.

Absolutely pathetic cycle of winning on easy pitches, losing on hard but making sure to always play in IPL.

WHY NO REPLACEMENT FOR PADDY??
by phaneeswar on Aug 14, 2011 12:27 PM

Did anyone observed that ever since Gary took Indian team role, he strongly recommended PADDY UPTON as MENTAL CONDITIONING coach for INDIAN TEAM....because a MENTAL CONDITIONING coach is of a great essence for a team like India where they play lot of cricket....to avoid fatigue and other factors you must require mental boost like anything, PADDY has really contributed India PSYCHOLOGICALLY very well and that is where Indians have able to fight back at losses....Paddy to exited along with Kirsten, why BCCI didn't invest on another mental conditioning coach??????Can't they invest on crucial HUMAN RESOURCE????Mike Horn should also be roped in Indian team for permanent basis.....WAHT YOU ALL SAY?????

Bloody Genius does not score runs when required and why? He should play well on all conditions, not only which suits him. When Every shit of England players play well, why our GOD failed? Is he forgot to play or anythings else? You have to talk everything before blaming other people. Just praising wont have any sense. IF any other player plays like this, you will keep quite? Dont wake your tail unneccessarily...

Dont blame veterans
by Soyaf Yoosaf G.K. on Aug 14, 2011 12:16 PM  | Hide replies

Hey, everybody seems so eager to blame on these 35 cricketers and are shouting for their replacements. I would rather suggest you to total the runs score by dravid, laxman & sachin with that of the combined total of raina, gambhir, mukund, dhoni, yuvraj, sehwag etc. you will see wht it would have happened if these 35 players were not there. we are speaking of young blood but wht the ones already present are doing. playing rash shots and getting out themselves....

No, thats not the point. The thirty five plus were selected into the team only because of their current form they boasted on placid india wickets and the records they seem to have to back them up. Its now that these are proving hog wash and meaningless when the they are made to face the adversity in real terms on its face. Lack of technical competence is there for all to see. WHen someone with so many years experience cannot read outswingers what will youngsters who have not visited or played in any wickets other than dead indian wickets know about? I will squarely blame the so called veterans and so called flag bearers of Indian cricket - Shame on them.

People who called for grooming youngsters are not `everybody' as you say, but our former cricketers like kumble who was great himself and so one needs to take their seriously. Can sachin, dravid and co play till eternity? They are greats, no doubt, but one needs to develop and groom our youngsters. If they fail, so be it. At least they would learn. We lost comprehensively despite our greats, so your argument has no basis.
