Most Humiliating

But the most humiliating was the first ball duck of Viru Sehwag in both the innings.

Sehwag is another overhyped flat track bully. His total runs in Eng is 237 in 8 innings. He is only good on sub-continent type pitches.

BCCI is responsible for this
by Suraj Kumar on Aug 14, 2011 09:18 AM  | Hide replies

Frankly speaking BCCI is the main culrit behind this they had to plan the series considering the physical and mental frame of players.....immediately after WC there was IPL followed by WI series the team does need some rest it is like there is no fuel/petrol in your vehicle but you still need your car to win first in a car race.......how pathetic

EYE SPEED
by jose andrade on Aug 14, 2011 08:37 AM  | Hide replies

EVEN A CAMERA EYE HAS SPEED. INDIA'S PROBLEM I HAD HIGHLIGHTED LONG BEFORE. THEY PLAY ON SLOW PITCHES IN INDIA THEREFORE THEIR EYES CANNOT DEVELOPE TO CONTAIN THAT SPEED WHEN THEY REACH ABROAD TO PLAY FAST BALLING ON FAST PITCHES. BY THE TIME THEY THEIR EYE DEVELOPE THE SPEED TO CONTAIN THE FAST BOWLING ON FAST PITCHES, THE SERIES GETS OVER. THIS FACT THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS ONLY INDIAN CRICKET IS MENTALLY BLIND. THEY ALSO PRODUCE ONLY SPINNERS. IT IS A SHAME IN 2 BILLION INDIANS OUR INDIAN CRICKET DOES NOT PRODUCE ONE DEADLY AND FEARFUL BOWLER. ONLY ARMY HAS TALL AND WELL BUILT MEN. WHY NOT INDIAN CRICKET. ONLY INFLUENTIAL AND EDUCATED CAN PLAY CRICKET?

a solution to this is to face bowling machinces with 150kmph as india will never produce 150kmph bowlers in domestic cricket

Indian bowlers just needed to be given exposure to english conditions. That is all that is needed. Playing spin is as tough as playing pace. Get a grip.

truely said.India has already st their mindset that they r gona get flat pitched everytime wherever they go by BCCI as they do at home.we don't encourage fast bowling by making flat pitches .that is why we kill the fast bowlers and make way for great indian batsmen who can't play fast bowling even at home.

India needs sharp and fast bowlers like England, SA, Australia
by parinda on Aug 14, 2011 08:23 AM  | Hide replies

India needs fast and sharp bowlers like Dale steyn, Mc grath, etc.. who can rattle the opposition's batting order. While everyone is skeptical on batsman we need to see the bowlers as well who allowed bulk to be scored.... Jaago sleeping selectors!!!

We need fast tracks to garner fast bowlers and by doing so u will get great batsmen who do not fear fast bowlers.

I think, our batsman quality is no doubt a good one and will surely bounce back. However, we need bowlers who can bowl consistently at 145kmph and for that we need tracks suitable to encourage such fast talent.

NO WORRY!!!
by Drax P on Aug 14, 2011 08:01 AM  | Hide replies

No worry, all this is the IPL effect due to stupid BCCI's misplaced priorities. Once the IPL tiredness fades India will be back on top.
If one notices the phase immediately after IPL has been the worst for INdia, in every edition and then recovery has happened.

IPL has become the bad boy of Indian cricket. What has IPL got to do with thrashing we got? Only Dhoni and Raina played IPL fully. Most of them opted out of WI one dayers and tests Big three batsmen and none of bowlers were in final. If IPL is problem how come Watson,Bollinger,Lee and others are doing well in SL tour?It is sheer lack of skill that made us fail in English conditions Any way a fit viru could not have made an impact under english conditions

in ipl u need to bowl only 4 overs and bat very less overs and earn in crores what fatigue are u talking about ??? even a 60 yr old can bowl 4 overs and yet walk away widout any sweat, boss test is hard work you need good mental and physical preparation and should plan each and every players strenghts and weakness of the opposition.
