sachin deserves Arjun award not bharat ratna.. bharat ratna ment for Mother Teresa, Jawaharlal Nehru, Kamaraj and others. what does sachin do for nation...it's clear nothing..he is just playing and enjoying cricket and making money. it's not wrong everybody does the same. Comparing Mother Teresa who not took single penny with her and sachin keeping 88% person of income in his pockets..

Agree with U. Though a very very big fan of Tendulkar but yes, I don't support BR for him. The award has a different base for being honoured to somebody.

Have u ever walk as many step as he scored for the country? He has given proud moments for billions of Indian and dn't forget COuntry gets united when we wins @WC or any other imp tournament.. talking about Jawaharlal Nehru??? what a shame.. he ate the fruits of Mahatma planted tree..created so many trouble for country for not solving Kashmir issue.. not doing any amendments in constitution which was suggested by hournourable Mr. Babasaheb Ambedkar we he founded it that it hould get revised once in a 14 years upon the situation.. get some facts..study harder about all the facts dude and then think of writing somethig.. ah k, unfortunately ur last comment didn't make a clear sense so thought U r supporting BR to Tendulkar by every means :).
Till now, some were saying that Sachin was a looser since he has not won any world cup. Now when he has indeed won, they are saying that why only praise him?? It was a team effort. This shows what a loosers these sachin bashers are. Even his whole team has dedicated this win for him. And then also, these people dont want to agree that he is the greatest... Shame on them!!!

Why Tendulkar over others - Because how bigger the impact of the person. Offcourse there is no comparison between V Anand, Paes etc, who were hardly influencing to few lacs but sachin almost 1/2 billion even more

Sorry man, U got it all wrong. It's not abt influencing ppl. The award is for serving ppl n that's d point ppl r trying 2 prove here. m a die hard fan of Tendulkar, but also agree that BR is definitely not something which he shud b awarded with. Even if U talk abt bringing India's position on top in that field even then cricket is not our national game so it's more reasons y U shudn't honour him with this.

Why Tendulakar its my ?, y we are avoiding viswanathan anand, Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi etc,, are there ..but It's a fact that india were won the world cup. but its not only his single hand ability (i mean sachin).. its a team work, and sachin gives wat he can do in that... .. So any way if considering sachin before that india should consider lot of sports persons ..some of them i mentioned earlier and more are tere

No doubt sachin is a great player but before giving BR to him the government should consider other sports persons also who have brought medals in Asian, Commonwealth and Olympic Games and also in chess and tennis. Now a days cricket is played for all the 365 days and that is why sachin is making so many records. But other sports persons are neglected by the people and also by the government.

Very good thought but why you did not come forward with this idea before people demanded to give BR to Sachin. You might not know too much about other players but when it is sachin then everybody start counting other players too. You loosers.

if other sports are neglcted by mass public that is the difference.Every sport is good but sport appealing to crores is important. Bharatratna is meant for person to whom people of entire nation feels proud about for a number of years.....that makes Tendulkar exceptional from rest of all...
