I don't see any logic in this. The lankans are one of the best sides we have seen in one day cricket. Losing the final to india - which has the strongest batting line up in the world - is a normal thing. That does not mean that everybody should resign. They should analyse - where things went wrong and should improve themselves for the future. Ram
Sachin, Gavaskar, Kapil, Ravi Shastri are anti-social. Without voluntarily retiring they've denied/deprived opportunities to young Muslims/Christians/Anglo-Indians/Sikhs/BC/SC/ST cricket players.

Everyone resigned? What the hell man! They are behaving as if losing to India, the best team in the tournament, was a crime. Apparently Arjuna Ranatunga accused Sangakkara of taking advice from politicians and not ex-cricketers. I think next world cup under the captaincy of the cricketer Dillu and no Ireland to beat they will fold up before the knockouts. Hahaha!
what was needed was to drop murali as he is a spent bullet and indians can play him,mendis should have been in.Then again srilankans tried to act cute by making many changes they lost.

Lankans couldn't stop Gambhir & Dhoni it is not the problem of Sangakkara or Mahela.Filure part was Dilshan out for cheaply.But later stage Perera & Mahela covered 274 is a good total only.India didn't get an easy win one stage it was 30 ball 30 runs required. People stopped breathing in the ground.Lankan selectors should reconsider their decision.Reaching to final is not an easy job

Sri Lanka has lost to a much better team. I can understand when Sangakara and Jayawardene have resigned. Why should the selection committee resign unnecessarily when they have not done anything wrong in selecting the team.
They had all easy matches till the finals and they boast as if they are too strong, srilankas cannot see themselves beyond that chucker malinga, if any team has a game plan for malinga srilanka can even be chased 350 easily as they dont have any other bowler, and the way sangakara told after winning the toss(second time) said what ever they put on board will be enough , f.... he deserves this trash and needs more as they always have a big head.
