It has been happening for quite some time-- young guys with talent come in make an impression, earn name and money-- spend enough time in commercial ads. They are called as fighters(agressive body language) and unfortunatley that is appreciated!!!. There are gentlemen cricketers - Sachin and Dravid likes who know how to carry startdom and greatness!!! Some of our current crop of the so called aggressive guys need to learn from them. Accountability of BCCI and selection committee is another issue, they get away with everything.
HEY Y r u all making such an hue and cry ,that selection is not gud, dhoni is bad, payers not fit,after some days if the same team wins one or two matches ,we will all forget what they have done in windies,iont blame u all,i am also one of u.we indians are only writing comments as the wounds are fresh, let some days go by we will again que to see dhoni and his ( unfit )men in IPL or whatever event they will participate,that is the reason nobody is answerable.
If India aims to achieve this, we need batsmen with correct technique like Sachin, Sehwag, Dravid, Laxman and Rayudu!! plus Raina And lively pitches that help bowlers like Ishanth, RP, Zaheer, Kamran Khan!
Bhajji, Yuvi and Rohit need to be kicked out! Ojha, Ashwin, Amit Mishra need to find a place in this team!
I think LAXMAN needs to be looked at in the one day scheme of things too!! There could be a situation where India are 50/6 and u need players like Laxman! A 50 from him of 75 balls is any day better game after game than a 100 from Yuvi for every 10 matches!!
In the recent past, that is after SRIKANT took over as the SELECTOR!!!! we see that the team is made up of only NORTH INDIANS. Eventhough good talented youngesters are available from the SOUTH, they are ignored! Why is it so? Why is SRISHANTH left out. He is the best pace bowler availble today! I hope the selectors will take note of this!

BADRINATH and VIJAY are there becuase they performed. It's another story that they failed in the tournament! But there are many players in the team, who stay ON and ON, inspite of their bad performance like YUVRAJ, SEHWAG and others. What you want to say on that?
i think only bcci selectors are not seeing sreesanth,rp singh,irfan, ishant.kumble was bothered in the emission of these bowlers for injured player(s).sreesanth ,rp singh ,irfan were the bowlers who won matches in 2007 t20 world cup.none of them, are now in team.we are forced to see the pathetic bowling display by nehra & company.

What selectors did that time? They picked Irfan. It's clear Dhoni is not getting team of his chice.
We lost two crucial matches at Barbados. We had only two 'Pace' bowlers, who could bowl only the maximum 130kph deliveries. They never tried to bowl short pitched deliveries. Part time spinners used in both matches and so allowed WI and Aus to score a decent total That is the main reason for early exit
