Bowling Option Went Wrong
by Abhijit on May 14, 2010 12:21 PM  | Hide replies

We lost two crucial matches at Barbados.
We had only two 'Pace' bowlers, who could bowl only the maximum 130kph deliveries. They never tried to bowl short pitched deliveries.
Part time spinners used in both matches and so allowed WI and Aus to score a decent total
That is the main reason for early exit

Indians--Should we care what Sunny or media like CNN IBN say
by LG on May 14, 2010 12:12 PM  | Hide replies

In the recent history,Indians are infamous of liking mediocrity in every walk of their lives and encourage mediocrity.

That is why neither the Indian as Nation nor Team India.

Indian people do not lean unless it is too late. if Dhobi continue to be captain, I am sure we have no hope of winning 2011WC.

You may think I am Anti_Dhobi, but there are visible signs that Dhobi is Selfish and coward which is no suprise because he is a mediocre.

Visible Signs:
Coward---Only a coward will chose to field after selecting an extra batsman for a regular bowler

Selfish--bothering about his own reputation and brand, whenever opener give good start or we are playing on flat slow pitches, he promotes himself ahead of betters like Rohit, Raina, UV. But when we are in bad position or playing on good pitch, he hides behind those players.

I do not care what Sunny or any ex players or CNN IBN says. They most of the time say what they are paid for by PR companies this Mediocre Player.

If someone take an extra batsman that means he is going for chase.

If someone take an extra bowler that means he is going to defend a total.

was reported by greg chappel, then informally by Kapil dev and now Garry.Surely there should be something, if three men are pointng towards his fitness and attitude. We are also observing his body language since IPL.A committed Irfan pathan is more valuable to the team than a disinterested Yuvraj

first change selection committee in bcci
by thimmareddy reddy on May 14, 2010 12:03 PM  | Hide replies

Kindly change the selection committee for Team India, I think team fixing is going (as matach fixing) Please for heven sake give the change for the poor cricketer. It is enough for our millioner Team india players, right now team india is playing for fun sake. Hence change 50% of the team india and give change for the juniors, Why Team India has got maximum players from North India, Give chance for south Indian and see how will team india will sparkle. the selection committee should have selected Robin Uttappa, Mithun, Raidu even Pandey would have helped Indian team in crises. Why Dhoni did not give chances for Vinay Kumar for the first two matches. Kindly think it over seriously. Do not try to fool 100 million Indian people.

Changing selection team will not solve the problem.Heavy/excess criket is also not responsible for teams performance.
It is heavy money they earned form IPL/ads is respomsible. Team coach can not pluck a hair of BCCI.Amy complaint against the players fronm coach will be taken as negative thinking and will be over ruled by BCCI.
Desolve BCCI and get that money distributed in the welfare f poor indian citizens education and health and nations development.

Dhoni won't be sacked, to stay as captain: Report
by Anurag Rathore on May 14, 2010 11:56 AM  | Hide replies

After unconfirmed reports of M S Dhoni likely to be sacked as T20 and ODI captain surfaced in the media, BCCI allegedly denied such reports on Friday saying that there is no such move and Dhoni will stay as the captain.

A report in CNN-INB says that the BCCI have dismissed reports of Dhoni likely to face the axe. The report says that the board has come out in support of the Indian skipper and said that the entire blame cannot be put on Dhoni's shoulders and it is a collective defeat.

Sachin did not defend Dhobi--watch his interview at NDTVsite
by LG on May 14, 2010 11:21 AM  | Hide replies

You are foolish enough to believe what is reported on Rediff. Rediff always distort the message.

Sachin has not defended Dhobi.

Sachin only said support Indian team, it did not mean T20 losers.

If you do not believe me
go to NDTV webpage, and watch Sachin interview, where he was speaking on cricket in general on and his life.

I guess they need to take corrective actions based on coach's report. Changing the captains after every tournament defeat will not help :)

India have left the bad habit of changing captain after every loss from last 20 years.

We had only 5 captains Azhar, Ganguly, Dravid, Kumble and Dhoni in last 20 years. Drvaid resigned himself and Kumble retired.

Guess instead of gracefully accepting your mistake you are deviating from the topic. Now if someone proves that kapil n ganguly didn't support them then you will point finger at another person!
